Update on the mask situation: I've been at work for an hour and I have yet to see a single person wearing a mask in this hospital. Looks like that order has been roundly ignored. We'll see if HR throws a hissy fit.

In Obama's case, he got to where he was because Jeri Ryan put her ex-husband on full-blast and created a power vacuum for him to become a senator. Then Hillary proved herself to be totally cringe, which is how he won the presidency.

I was gonna say she took over the DNC, so its electoral politics is her weakness, but Obama a political upstart relatively speaking couped her at party level politics. I hesitate to criticize her too much because let's be honest, the shit sandwich she was asked to sell to people is beyond salvageable.
