i'll believe Democrats don't want straight white leaders when they stop voting for them. But protip, Biden was a literal white supremacist with decades of documented elbow-rubbing with literal Klansmen and they still voted him into office for 50 years.

The Dems are in a weird paradoxical place with this. They need white leaders because their ethnic constituencies are starting to butt heads more and more and with a white leader no one feels like someone else is eating their lunch. For example, the Dems have been branding themselves the Black Party with a bold capital B but they're also courting the support of Latinos who are quickly eclipsing the influence of blacks. If they fill the upper echelons of the party with blacks and Latinos ask "why are they so much of the leadership, we have more voters than they do" the party will explode into literal race war.

The Hunter Biden pardon is most definitely coming after the election regardless of the result. I think that's the only thing stopping the Bidens from sabotaging Kamala's campaign outright.

Doesn’t a trial have to run its full course, with a sentence handed down, before a pardon can be issued? Doesn’t look like that’s happened yet in the Hunter Biden case. I could see them pushing for a speedy conclusion, but the system tends to move at a glacial pace…
