Where I live I noticed that the democrat signs are usually on corner houses to try and get more people seeing them and I also notice that they put them in front of houses that look abandoned at least to me and my family with how shabby some of them are.

I actually love this era of gaming. Sure AAA is a trashfire, which is good because fuck them. What makes this era good is we have such a large selection of midsized and indy studios cranking out great games that basically scratch almost every itch. Emulation and a large effort to preserve the classics. While there is currently an outbreak of poz going around it is easy to get informed on what is infected by it and if the game is good, there is usually a mod to get rid of it. Not to mention there is growing push back against it so we might be seeing less and less of it.
