Can someone explain to me what a situationship is and why women put up with them? I thought it was some online thing but I'm seeing more and more people I know IRL use the term.

Know this one woman who says she is in a situationship. Complains about the guy never messaging her, never responding when she messages him and about other women being all over him etc. Were talking recently and she was about to say "me and my boyfriend" but got as far as blurting out "my b...", got a distant look like a fucking war vet with PTSD and finished with "me and Steve". Think in that moment the depth of her mysery sank in for a moment, it was kind of sad to witness.

As far as I can work out it's just a fancy new word for when a woman is a side piece, knows she is, but wants to keep living in denial and vain hope of pinning the guy down to an actual relationship. Am I missing something?

It's an additional step down in degeneracy:

  • Marriage: Two people live together to form a family. They have sex and make babies. The woman is legally protected if she stops working to take care of kids.
  • Cohabitation: Two people live together to form a sterile facsimile of a family. They have sex, but the woman has a chemical hysterectomy. The woman is not legally protected and needs to keep working (fine, she has no kids and never will).
  • Relationship: Two people spend a lot of time together, have feelings for each other, and have sex exclusively. The woman has a chemical hysterectomy. They may think about "upgrading" to cohabitation or marriage, but they are most likely doing this until one of the two finds somebody more attractive to have sex with.
  • Situationship: Two people spend a lot of time together and have sex with no stated or implied exclusivity. The woman has a lot of feelings for the man that are not reciprocated, and of course has a chemical hysterectomy.
  • Friends with benefits: Two people have sex regularly, but it is entirely a hedonistic affair that is purely for coom. (Do I need to mention that the woman has been sterilized?)

Over the past few days I learn that women not only want to escape accountability for their action or inaction, they want to erase the very concept of consequences from their mind. Women really believe they are the main character of life and that the plot won't advance without their approval.

Conversation with my mother:
Me: "Dad isn't around anymore and I live 20 miles away. You need a gun."
Mom: "But what if I have to use it?"
Me: "That's why you need it, in case you get robbed."
Mom: "But I won't get robbed."
Me: "Then get a gun anyway since I guess you won't need to use it if you're not getting robbed."
Mom: "But what if I have to use it?"
-ERROR: Foid has entered infinite feedback loop.-

Conversation with my older sister:
Me: "Look, there's potentially some weird shit going down with this election, regardless of who wins. We should be prepared."
Sister: "But this just, like, isn't a good time for me in my personal life or whatever."
Me: "I'll call and ask if they can reschedule the election. But just in case that doesn't pan out, I'm getting you some extra food and water."
Sister: "But I just don't like how all that stuff would, like, LOOK at my place. It Just like ruins the whole chill vibe and junk. So don't get me stuff."
Me: "I am doing every single bit of heavy lifting here. I am researching, buying, organizing, and moving everything. All I'm asking you to do is NOTHING."
Sister: "Yeah, but, ummm, just like just, UGH, okay!?"

Foids literally believe they can prevent bad things by remaining unprepared for them. If something gives them the prickly-wicklies, all they have to do is just not think about it, and it won't happen. Reality will bend to their will in order not to inconvenience them.

Fuck all that bullshit about stronk independent wombyn doing it for themselves. Fuck all that bullshit about how men would die if they had to endure period cramps and childbirth. Foids are fragile hothouse flowers who can only survive by being completely cut off from reality. If men weren't born with an overwhelming instinct to protect them, they would be extinct within a week.

I have so many stories I could tell about my wife protesting through angry tears because I wanted to take care of some future thing that meant thinking about something unpleasant right now, but I don't really want to share details. Any time I let the tears win, I regretted it later.

To be fair I encounter boomercons who felt the same way when niggers were rioting during the 2020 Summer of Love. It is an unfortunate and common thought process that everything is okay until it affects them personally. If it does, then they act completely bewildered by what happened.

You know, I've seen it so many times but it always amuses me how pooners have nearly the exact same view of men as TERFs do except with inverted value judgments. I swear to god you could take excepts of a pooner screed, cut out the bits that reference wanting to be a man and self-sympathy for "experiencing men's hardships", and post it verbatim in a TERF forum to nothing but agreement. Same myopic non-insights, same stereotyping, same obvious indicators of little to no male contact, same complete misreads of male intentions and emotions, it's just nuts. The only difference is that the pooners fetishize it instead of hating it.
