"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

This is the scene from Fight Club to which @Null referred in the Jack Doherty segment.
This is from the script:
EXT. HOTEL - LATER

Jack, Tyler and the others file quickly out the back SERVICE
ENTRANCE. Tyler gives Angel Face a hearty slap on the back.
Angel Face smiles at Tyler, nods, grinning.

Jack sees this, his eyes narrowing, stops walking.

JACK (V.O.)
I am Jack's inflamed sense of rejection.

INT. TAVERN BASEMENT - NIGHT

Fight club in full swing. Jack battles Angel Face, BEATING
the shit out of him with unprecedented viciousness.

JACK (V.O.)
I felt like putting a bullet between
the eyes of every Panda that wouldn't
screw to save its species.

The crowd shouts maniacally, save Tyler, who watches with an
inscrutable stone face.

Angel Face tries to speak, but Jack POUNDS too hard. Blood
flies. The crowd begins to grow QUIETER.

JACK (V.O.)
I wanted to open the dump valves on
oil tankers and smother all the
French beaches I'd never see.

Finally, Angel Face lies still, unconscious. Jack stops,
stares down, numb. Jack walks away -- the crowd parts to
let him pass. Jack scans faces... finds Tyler.

TYLER
Where did you go, Psycho-Boy?

JACK
I felt like destroying something
beautiful.

The author of the book was a gay man who was evidently closeted up until a few years after I saw the movie, but as with a lot of these things, fooling no one who saw that.
I think a straight young man or boy seeing the same scene might just have hated a "pretty boy" and probably picked up on the inherent queerbait dynamic both to that scene and real life, and that might have been the repulsion that Josh internalized from the scene. For me, it was just more gay shit, but I was older when I saw it.

All that being said, Jack Doherty does look like a child and will no doubt be popular with sodomites wherever he might find himself, hopeful am I that it is a ring of hell.

The eyes were too far apart, it had to be one person

I wonder if this will affect older fords with the older screens
this stuff NEVER gets backported to older machines, because car companies are, even more than money grubbing idiots, lazy as fuck.

TSLA is the only manufacturer I know of who does actual system improvements/changes after sale, besides just minor bug fixes.

The shopping cart issue is complete slander. I see moids standing in the way with complete lack of self awareness way more often. You probably notice more women because more women do the grocery shopping for their family.
Here's some more women grocery shopper slander. When I'm at the checkout with only a few items and the person in front of me has a whole cart full, I'm twice as likely to be waived through by a man than a woman (10-15% chance vs 25%+). I assume this is because women are more timid and they'd like to invite me to skip but they are too shy to offer.

I would have never pegged Null as a Rachel Maddow fan.
He was pretty young at that point. I believe he also liked Jon Stewart in his heyday. Josh was born in, I think, 1992 and came of age during the Bush and Obama years. Considering his age and the political climate culturally at the time, it's not at all a surprise he didn't mind a dose of leftism.

Even now, I don't really think he's exactly a right wing ideologue by any means if you take away his most visible views on trannies, race, and the gays. Certainly not a liberal or leftist, and he feels very strongly on certain issues, but he's generally relatively pragmatic. I bet Ron Paul had a sizable influence on him in terms of forming some of his own beliefs and marching to the beat of his own drum, actually.

If you take the most optimistic point of view, he technically said "men who won't vote for Kamala because she's a woman should be shot" which is slightly different, though still clearly batshit.

I doubt the number of Biden voters who are NOT voting Kamala because she's female are limited to a few jealous troons.

Jersh was also raised by a single mother in a white trash conditions who, by his own admission, is a fag hag and took him to a pride parade when he was a kid.

I think Jersh is passionate about the positions he holds - you would have to be to hold them under the pressure he's experiences - but I get the impression his ODD played as large a part in bringing him to them as any actual introspection or listening to argumentation. To go to something relatively apolitical, his criticisms of anime aren't really about it as an artistic medium, but about its enjoyers having a large concentration of socially awkward people who may or may not be sex pests, and he didn't start making it a habit to go off about it until after people kept superchatting him asking him to watch x or y anime even when he made it clear repeatedly he had no interest.

The term "anime avatar" was already thrown around long before that, but the continued attempt to say "it's only some animes that are pedobait" forced him to look into it more, and he's come to realize that even such "good anime" like Ponyo are filled with strange Japanese obsession with little girl panties.

I'm not contesting that there's plenty of skeevy stuff in anime - it seems to be the case for the cartoon industry in general - or that anime avatars weren't already infamous, my point is that people sufficiently annoyed Jersh into adopting a position.

Something stood out when Null was covering the list of hospitals that profit off child SRS.

All of the top 12 hospitals have "children" in the name. But if you take the #1 hospital's full name, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and abbreviate it, it's The C.H.O.P.

Is this a correct summation of the Rust devs?

"Sometimes a story appears. A story that I know will anger Rust programmers. And if I were to cover that story, if I were to talk about that story, the cat eared wearing Rust devs across the globe would throw an epic, epic fit. They would take to Mastodon where they...their profile pictures are all anime drawings of little girls and then they'd have a gosh darn meltdown, cursing and swearing about me with all of the other Rust developers in between talking at length about furry culture."

I'm willing to look past Lunduke being one of the chosen because he consistently does good reporting.
