Hurricane Milton

Any military facility in Florida is going to be built to handle this exact situation as well as possible, they’re not the real concern. Despite the memes, a lot of key infrastructure in the state is built to either withstand these conditions or be as easy as possible to recover. The issue is all the people living in homes that are vulnerable to storm surge and flash flooding, and especially people in less robustly built homes and mobile homes, who are additionally even more vulnerable to wind and debris.
What was the hurricane that erased entire neiborhood by flooding and category 4 typhoon when Oprah was a thing, I recall her vividly supposedly donating and building new house around 200X?

Category 4-5 can throw around parked cars, topple trucks and blow off both roof tiles and soral panels, rising risk of electrical fires that happened when Helene it, am I wrongs?

For The office Memes: @Assistant Manajerk, took Milton's stapler and moved him to the basement AKA the Gulf of Mexico.

Kiwis I would absolutely advise against giving any significant location specific details in this thread. The Kiwis in FL PM chain is a different detail. Some of you are giving a lot of info. Anyone can search posts you have made mentioning the location in question and use it to dox you, especially if you're active in particular threads or areas of the site. Make sure your opsec safety is solid like your storm safety.

The PM chain is probably safer but I'd still be careful. Lotta bad actors like to prey on emergencies.
I’m at 8747 International Dr #103, Orlando, FL 32819. Cum find me.

Heres a really good example of 'fuck with it and find out.'
(not Milton). I dont think these guys are cut out for storm chasing.

That terrified squealing was so satisfying.

What would help is if your house was a literal 2 storey + basement box of concrete and that's it.
Tough to build basements near sea level in Florida. Water never stops seeping in and while you can pump it out 24/7 you're fucked the moment the pumps stop working. When Disney decided the Magic Kingdom had to have underground tunnels, they couldn't actually dig down. So they built the "tunnels" at ground level and built the whole park on top of them.

Isn’t Florida full of HOAs? So you can’t even build a bunker if you wanted to.
Build in an unencumbered area or vote the faggots out and dissolve the HOA (that's what I'm working on).

Allegedly a mobile home completely shredded by a tornado from Milton. Doesn't specify the location or tornado.

I may be out of the game here soon. Electrical shit is exploding all around me. Whatever was over here glowed like this for like 10 minutes after blowing. Saw what looked like a ground level transformer/distribution box blow upwards a couple blocks ago as well.

Also for @PyrrhicRustle
