Should Trump win and the GOP hold onto the House I want investigations into these hosts. If the DNC is buying influencers(ugh that word) they are most assuredly buying the likes of Colbert and probably his entire writing room.

They most definitely are. Whenever you see someone not popular or famous on one of these shows it usually means they bought in to advertise and promote themselves. But I don't think that is illegal and shouldn't be if it is.

And no, those aren't all based conservative refugees from Commiefornistan. They're largely millenials, older zoomers, and remote job tech workers--all core liberal groups from CA. They're moving to places like Austin to retain the generic metropolitan lifestyle they enjoyed in CA. And they're bringing their politics with them; for all the problems they might complain about in California, you won't hear them rejecting leftism as a solution. They either want more leftism, or they're the "fiscally conservative but socially liberal" midwits who always vote against whoever gets called a racist.

Put it this way: Florida is considered a purple state, and Trump only won it by 3.3% in 2020. You might say it's been trending more Republican recently, but Texas was a 5.5% margin the same year and it's trending downward. At some point you will have to call it a toss-up.

You have my condolences. I live in an extremely blue state that is not California, but we get tons of them here and they are profoundly dumb.

I just watched the clip of Kamala with Stephen Colbert. I won't link it because you shouldn't give it any views, but it's really really pozzed. Somehow, it manages to be even a softer ball than everything we've seen thus far, which is why Kamala didn't do anything too crazy, but it's probably because she knew the questions in advance. It looks so fake, and they somehow end up talking about half of her appearance about January 6.

She also bitches that people can't pronounce her name as they're cheering for her.

I think money will talk and bullshit will walk, like always. The wealthy groups who actually run the country and the unelected intelligence agencies who actually run the country want a Kamala win for a myriad of reasons. I can only envision a Trump win if they decide to just accelerate every impending collapse during his presidency, giving them a good excuse to put nationalists in death camps.
