I don't disagree at all, he needs to do a rally or two in the red states too. I think the california, and new york is more to give a boost to a few house/senate dems perhaps. in 2016 he was doing 4 rallies a day in the last couple weeks, I hope he does that this year too.

I've been doin a similar thing albeit on twitter and with democrats. I've been larping as a Cornel West supporter on twitter trying to convince Democrats to not vote for Kamala Harris since she supports Israel and will continue to let the palestinians get killed.

Austin has always been like that though. He'll, in the 70s, Austin was deep-deep blue (moreso than San Fran and other California metros). It's a containment zone like Houston and San Antonio are (and arguably DFW but there are still areas that are still sane - mostly outside of Dallas and Denton County).

Ted Cruz showed his ass after Trump beat him during the 2016 primary and he's been trying to recover since. He would be perfectly fine as a do-nothing conservative and the only reason why he's occasionally maga-lite is because the constituents are hoping for something better. Personally I'm not Cruz' biggest fan but I'm willing to keep him if Cornyn fucking retires or gets voted out (fucker is 72 and thinks he's better than you and should be able to die in that damned seat). Cruz is a snake that will sell Texas down the river at his earliest convenience, Cornyn is willing to give Dems everything they want to spite us because he hates us. We need better representation in this state.

Harris county (Houston) has always been substantially more conservative than Dallas County.

Houston was 10 points redder in 2020. Fort Worth is based though.
