It was even dumber than that. The guy she was describing in detail realized she was talking about him and threatened legal action. An extensive investigation by Breitbart found out that Dunham's story was total horseshit and Dunham was then was forced by her publisher (Random House) to change her book and write an updated version with what amounted to an apology (archive). She straight up lied about getting raped for fame.

How though? The worse he can do with say certain members of the press is deny them and/or their network press coverage. With the FBI and other agencies and bureaucracies, he can cut their funding but he would have to get Congress to approve that in the end of the day. He could also have a few senior bureaucrats he doesn't like fired assuming they don't resign before he takes office. Otherwise, there's barely anything he can legally do to punish the people that have screwed him over.

He acted very differently in 2020 when campaigning for Biden (despite everything between the two of them). Just sayin'. There was a confidence and some sass that Barry had on the campaign trail 4 years ago that appears to be gone now.

As I've said elsewhere, I think Obama wants to retire and be left alone.

Which is too goddamn bad, since he oriented an entire political party around himself as king shit! The fucking idiot did not groom a successor or protégé.

Obummer is still the HNIC of the DNC so he pretty much has to come out even if he knows it's pointless or he really would rather be at home getting railed by his boy toys and his husband Micheal.

If he doesn't come out and do something and Harris loses he gets shit on for doing nothing
If he at least comes out and does an event or two he can say he did what he could but Harris was just such a shit candidate, like he said at the beginning, that even bringing out black jesus couldn't save her campaign.

So yah, I'd expect to see Barry do a few events, give some stump speeches and then fuck back off to the Hamptons to continue his decent into irrelevance and drugs.

Depends. The fbi and military he can fuck pretty easy. Order Milley to take command of arctic base. Declare an emergency at the border and make the fbi guard the border all day and night. The civilian staff is harder but he can still make them do stupid bullshit and run in effective hamster wheels. Most wouldnt care cause their federal pension.

He can fuck with that too though. Pull federal pension money out of blackrock.

Even putting aside all of the supposed insider reports that Obama wanted some other candidate other than Harris, wasn't he also one of the last major Democrats to endorse Harris? I doubt he was ever going to put much effort into helping her get elected even if her campaign wasn't sinking even more every day.

This is also why I don't think we'll ever see Big Mike run for POTUS. The two of them enjoy their current celebrity lifestyle too much. Watch the footage from Trump's Inaugural again: Barry looked like he had the bridal glow on her wedding day, or something. Haha. He looked so happy to be done with it all. He was all smiles on that day.

Remember Obama's last year in office? He phoned it the fuck in, lol. And remember when Obama had a borderline temper tantrum right before the 2016 election? About how black people shouldn't "fail him" by letting Trump win? The man was already planning his retirement and ~*legacy*~ in his head at that point. That rant of his was one of the signs I saw that made me confident about Trump's victory. lol.

Obama did a great job campaigning for himself in his elections ... But he did the Democrat Party zero favors. The DNC was basically bankrupt by the end of his Presidency, he went through two midterms where he received a shellacking, and he was too narcissistic to take a young person under his wing to carry that legacy he cares about so much. His ego blinded him.

To be fair, Obama did stick his nose out for Biden after the disastrous debate more than once. He made some strong statements about his support for Biden.

He probably felt he'd look like an idiot endorsing Harris so fast. lol.

I would say commute their sentences/fines, preemptively even, but put them through the process. Make them burn money trying to defend their name or just give up and admit to what they've done
