Wasn't sure where else to post this, so I'll do it here:
While checking in on Ash Coyote (the furry Youtuber/Documentarian who recently talked about
the huge number of "Babyfurs" running furry events and complained about Furaffinity banning pedo content), I found something
interesting.

So... this "Tofte" guy is apparently a college professor, and he's openly teaching his students about furry shit. As part of this, he has included a
furry fandom documentary made by Ash Coyote (aka Ash Kreis) as part of the course work, and now it sounds likely that Ash Coyote himself will be invited to come talk to the class.
I had a hard time believing this at first, but it turns out that "Tofte" doesn't even try to hide his real-life identity, and it all seems to be true.
"Tofte Alpaca", aka Christopher Polt, an Associate Professor at Boston College.

This semester, the administration gave Polt free rein to implement “Fursuit Fridays” in the Catholic university classroom. Polt shared photos on his Twitter, claiming February 23 was “the most amazing class” he’s ever had.
Polt explained that for one assignment, he required his students to create “fursonas”—in other words, submit a description of themselves as furries. Afterword, he brought the students cakes reading, “Sorry for making you furries.”

Tofte Alpaca (he/him) is an Associate Professor of Classical Studies at Boston College, where he teaches courses on Greek, Latin, and ancient Mediterranean civilizations. His favorite course to teach is “Beast Literature,” which he developed to explore anthropomorphic and talking animals in ancient, Medieval European, and modern cultures.
He
deleted his Twitter account recently, so here are some archives:

Jesus Christ... just skim through
this, for example. Even more bizarre when you consider that Boston College is
supposed to be Catholic.
Even with universities commonly being pozzed these days, I didn't expect to find something
this egregious.

The strange thing (and the main reason I'm posting this...) is that this guy has never been mentioned on KF before, at least from what I can tell from the search results.
