So this post from the transbian thread inspired me on some uninspired rambling. It’s a long one, so I think it’s more fitting to post here.
My theory is that it’s not just about becoming the opposite sex, it’s about creating an entire persona. One that’s cooler, sexier and more interesting than the sad sack men they are.
Bingo. Even when I was on the ally side of things, similar thoughts occurred to me whenever I’ve found another male neckbeard youtuber or xitter artist going «bisexual lesbian whore». While happy they found their true self, I couldn’t quite articulate why there’s this small part of me always being grossed out.
And then, after listening to the Joon the King’s video about Jerry Peet, it finally hit me.
There’s this very painful, awful part of the dude’s pre-transition biography where he posed as «Tara Callie» and tried to catfish a lesbian into dating him. The persona he used in question was a tall, dominant, depraved bisexual woman who, according his lore, sexually assaulted underage girls and had incestuous relationship with her sister. All while also dating Jerry, and, of course, being obsessed with him. Having her cake (being a hot lesbian) and eating it too (still having sex with men and getting attention from them).
While there are huge Freudian slips between him and his persona,
especially in the criminal part, dear lord, one can easily tell how much «cooler» this Tara Callie is. She is confident, beautiful, strong, rich, but, most of all, very sexually active. Everyone is just into her. And if someone isn’t, she can easily force herself on them, and avoid any consequences. She is everything Jerry, a constantly horny, touch-starved guy is his early twenties, wished he could be and do.
And that’s a thing for all men who use such online personas before trooning out – they make their own idealized, openly sexual selves. But why are they always female? Could it be that they are truly women on the inside and it’s all just a phase before coming out? Yeah, about that…
There’s this genre called gender bender/body switch. Originally used for a quick joke or moral lessons about grass not being greener on the other side, it slowly derailed into being specifically about men appropriating «the perks» of womanhood.
Imagine a following plot:
a relatable male loser has no luck with love or friendship. He is very plain, boring, maybe with some perverted thoughts, and a crush who’ll never look his way. But then though some shenanigans he turns into not just a girl, but a very hot one. And suddenly, not just his crush, but everyone, both men and women, want to get into «her» pants. «She» is the center of attention. «She» might be against male attention at first, but then due to ~female hormones~ becomes a horny slut/dominant vamp, who still, of course, gets some lesbian action on the side when «she» feels like it. No partner, female or male, has any real problem with what «she» does except being jealous, since they are just that in love with our so-beautiful-it’s-a-curse protagonist. And, in the end, after pages upon pages of «b-but I am a guy!...» and fucking around, our protagonist stays a woman forever and goes on to live with the meat piece the love interest of their choice.
Can you guess the name of the story I was describing? It doesn’t matter –
they are all like that. The so-called trans-discovery stories are mostly just wish-fulfillment gay porn-bait which masquerades as straight to lure in the closeted guys. A crossdressing plot is also very close to it. A boy puts on a dress and suddenly, despite any biological nuances, turns into a much better, cuter girl than any actual ones in the story. And no one, no one can tell!
I always hated these stories since there’re so many unfortunate implications to count. «
Women are these invincible sex gods who can fuck anyone they want», «
YOU can EASILY be that sex god, just put on a skirt, bro», or just
pure evil – «
As a man you will always be a lonely loser, don’t even try to work on yourself. Nobody will love you the way you were born» and «S
ince you’re such a failure as a man, it means you’re a woman».
So, when I hear the news of yet another nerd calling himself «Lilith the lesbian futanari» I can’t help but to associate him with these stories and feel disgusted.
It’s such a mishmash of self-hatred, narcissism, gender stereotypes, internal misandry, and misogyny at the same time. These men idealize the way women exist, and project all of their suppressed, dark desires onto this perfect female form they, and, as they assume, everyone else would adore. This way they stay disassociated from said desires, and avoid looking into their depraved or homosexual urges («
uh, it’s a woman doing all this, not a man! So it's okay!»).
All these transmaxxers rhetoric didn’t appear out of thin air. There were there in male media for decades, maybe even centuries. Lingering at the back of minds, until bursting out and turning a seemingly normal on the surface man into a walking nightmare for everyone around him. Unlike these fantasy worlds where their female Mary Sue personas ran supreme, real people aren’t npcs to have sex with, so when they ruin a tranny’s illusion by not acting how their horny gender bender story promised they would, he starts a violent tantrum to force them to go back to the script inside his head. The lesbians, unfortunately, get the worst of it.
