In theory he's in a holding pattern for some months until more surgery. But he hasn't been particularly talkative about his case. There was no resolution that I could see to his fit over where he was going to have to go for revisions and repairs.

But he got it in Canada, so if he’s lucky he’ll get a GET WELL card from the hospital administrator along with a referral for 1000$ a month disability.

That stoma bag is going to be there for months, best case scenario, permanent in the worst case scenario. You can live at home with an ostomy bag, so long as you know how to care for it. I think the medical team just threw the ketamine his way because Lissa kept complaining that dilation was painful and he's shitting out his vagina and his life is hell now, so he'd stop complaining for a bit. He's probably going to get hooked and be in for a long addiction and detox saga, but that's for the psych people to worry about lol. Internal medicine just needs to get Lissa pooping out the right hole.

If you're getting a surgery like this in the US then you absolutely must have signed a long waiver indemnifying everyone involved against most every possible outcome. Kind of like when you go to a ski resort and there's a waiver on the back of the lift ticket indemnifying the resort even if you're injured and it's their fault.
In general in the US, surgical complications themselves aren't always proof of malpractice. You need to prove that the doctor involved was being negligent. Since there isn't much of a standard of care for troon medicine, troon doctors can usually skate.

Not to mention that it can be tricky to find lawyers to take your case, and even payouts for it can be so low that you still wind up owing money to the providers involved. It's another reason that trannies shock me with their willingness to undergo such dangerous, understudied procedures; even if you win your case, 1) that doesn't mean you'll get the payout you want, especially after the lawyer takes their cut, and 2) no amount of money on Earth can ever replace the body you were born with.

Quite frankly, there is an alarming amount of trust placed in surgeons that there isn't placed in "gatekeeping" psychologists, which is ironic given that - while psychiatric medication can often lead to permanent, debilitating side effects (tardive dyskinesia, anyone?) - what these surgeons do to patients is genuinely wicked. And, my God, they are trying to lure children into it! When you think of the money a patient could spend from, let's say 12 to 70, on a lifetime of post-procedural care... truly, they are checks written in blood and cashed by devils.

But I'm on the verge of A-Logging, so let's post something actually worthwhile.

It won’t let me edit the text I have for some reason. But I’d also like to say, my pain has been no bueno. Staying on top of the meds is tricky and I’ve been super dizzy and nauseated. Not fun. This is tmi but with the suprapubic tube I feel like I need to urinate and not relieved lol… I also have that stitching below my scrotum from my anus, that portion is the part I feel the most tender and pain. Honestly, less than the tube area.

No fever. The shaking comes with anytime I start moving. My doctor recommended me to make every few hours and I just do like 5-10 little laps around my kitchen table. Or move to grab something when I’m getting up for the restroom. I’m mostly fine at first and then it starts. No fever that I’ve noticed though. I’ve been on the dot with my pain meds. I just emailed my clinic too.
