Also JLPT N1 sperging cos I can't help myself: Japanese students seem to love claiming that "N1 would be hard even for Japanese people" but I showed my Japanese friend some n1 practice questions (yes, including kanji) and he breezed through them.

There's a video on YouTube of a native easily acing the N1. my really annoyance is how I don't think Chibi even has N5 and is yet jumping straight to N4. 150 recommended hours for N5 and I'd be surprised if he's put in a single hour outside of just remembering key phrases. To repeat myself he really should set achievable goals.

My guess is he tried to hit up the anime convention and was told he couldn't come in or something which gave him a sad and he said he'd never cosplay again. Until the next time.

My prediction based on how these things seem to go for him: Chibi leverages this into somehow landing a minor dub role for an actual anime from a real studio in the future, goes through with it and the show airs with him credited, but afterwards he's blacklisted from the industry for creeping out everyone he worked with, and he brags about the whole experience for the rest of his life
