The article was published in August 21, while those emails started August 1. Article mentioned an anonymous student who was chaperoned to the concert, so there's something up here. Just talked with a buddy living near Reno a few minutes ago. He and his sister had planned to attend a Trump rally in town Friday, but the line to get in was so long they bailed.

Opinion - as Harris sinks, President Trump surges. Harris' unlikeability as a candidate keeps shining through. Her poor VP choice and poor choice of a husband becomes more pronounced every day. Even Biden is keeping her at arm's length. Suggest 'they' already know Harris won't win and are preparing to deal with the devil they do know. Observation - when this election is over, that's all for Harris on the national stage, and likely anywhere. She'll get some lucrative positions on the boards of 'woke' companies, as long as that lasts. And once elected, President Trump is a lame duck, cannot be re-elected, would retire after this term. Both parties will need to figure out what to do for 2028. Right now Vance doesn't look bad for 28. If Tulsi Gabbard would switch to the GOP she'd certainly be in the mix. Maybe Vance/Gabbard for 28?

It can't be overstated how much Trump's response to being shot in the face helped his image. He went from being "gross talking locker room man" to looking like a genuine leader under fire. Even if it glanced his ear, there are very, very few untrained people who will not shit their pants at a bullet tearing so close to their face. And he stood up (against better wisdom tbf) to reassure his audience and encourage them because he knew it would be all out pandemonium if people there saw him getting wheeled out on a stretcher or carried out. THAT was his defining moment imo as far as many men are concerned because he demonstrated actual masculinity in a high pressure, real risk scenario.

There's a fucking reason that the news is working overtime to suppress that image.

Furthermore, there seems to have been other incidents that took place throughout that night. I think the issue with Harris is that she seems like the type who really doesn’t make decision during a time of crisis or when time is limited. Her campaign feels very much by committee and neither she or Walz can go off script.

She can’t really react to criticism. No one in the Biden Admin can. It’s why misinfo is such a giant thing. They can’t allow the possibility of them mishandling something because they already have a narrative.

What does this more pro-Israel stance translate to in actual support? Is Trump going to give them more bombs and guns? Is he going to give them more money?

I don't see Trump giving the go ahead to invade Iran, which is about the only thing he could do that would top Biden and Harris' current support for Israel.

It all depends on who he surrounds himself with. If his son in law has a place in the administration, it’ll be like last time. (Which wasn’t that bad tbh. Does anyone care where the embassy is?)

If he has more based people in the administration it’ll be different this time.

Trump is also big on personal relationships. He got on well with Netanyahu for whatever reason. Netanyahu won’t be around forever, and the next Israeli PM will likely be more of a shitlib, who’ll quickly poison relations with Trump.
