Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE THREAD.

Are republican never-trumpers really that mad at him that they're trying to kill him? Why?
"Never Trumper" republicans are made up, in part, of the kinds of folks most LARPing MAGA chuds "claim" to be but actually aren't, and believe the kind of shit the Thunderdomers spout on the regular... but unironically and not just for the lulz.

Armed, unstable, terrified of Jews, Niggers and Trannys, and so far gone into the libertarian, white national rabbit hole, they're ready to throw their lives away. They'd pinned their hopes on Trump not actually bending the knee to the Jews, but have watched him dawn a Skullcap and sign a Torah.

Now there's nothing left to do but start a war of some kind because the whole system needs to be burnt to the ground.

Other answers in this thread are right, in my opinion.

Mental illness is one aspect: a person who is insane might just do insane things. Disillusionment with Trump is another: finally realizing who Donald really is may cause someone (who is not stable) to snap in some way. Feeling betrayed and lied to could be another part of it. Maybe the person feels Donald isn't going far enough and they are angry for that reason.

I believe a significant part of it comes down to the brainwashing these people have been receiving for the last decade about how bad the world is, how everything sucks, migrants and blacks are raping and killing white people, blacks and antifa are burning cities, liberals are destroying democracy to turn the US communist, Mexicans and spics are invading from the south, and the Jews rule the world. That aggressive and violent rhetoric can influence those traits in people, which is what I believe can be seen today.

Edit: @pro drivor It could be his account based on his Rumble. He has a stream starting in just over an hour, so that might yield some answers. It would make some sense if he was trying to do some kind of press/journalism event based on the steam history. It might explain the fake press pass, but this is pure speculation on my part.

Someone in the chat has the same idea. Another is questioning the situation.

It's pretty simple, Trump would much prefer to be president of Israel. They share his values (killing brown people, smelling like shit, having tantrums whenever anyone is mean to them) much more than the American people
Remember during his presidency he delcared himself the King of the jews as no one in history has done more for the jews than him?

Trump apparently had a replica of the Ark of the Covenant made. Who knew huh?

I wonder if he opens it.. bad things might happen
Now we know he's not christian so why the fuck would he get this made? Maybe Trump is the platonic ideal of the American boomer, lazy, self-centred, short-sighted, greedy and fucking obessed with 'gods chosen people' despite not being very religious themselves. I wonder if Trump started beleving his own bullshit with the qanon shit and thought he really was sent by god hence the 'king of jews' comment.

On the Linkedin associated with his media site he claims to have directed the "Where the Hood At?" music video. Chatgpt says the production company listed never existed as there was another much larger animation company by the same name that was active during that period.

Chatgpt says
Chatgpt does not look things up. It doesn't have a database it plunders for answers, it just looks through all the words it knows and strings them together in the way it thinks most resembles a sentence.
Well, it has possibly happened for a 3rd time.
How the fuck is this news? Neither him nor Routh even had eyes on Trump when they got got. It's one thing if they were staging more actual attacks but this is just plainly obvious desperation. If this is your definition of "assassination attempt" Biden's probably survived like 500

Are these headlines accurate?

If it is actually his account, it could be a retard trying to interview trump or something stupid like that as he seems to be a major supporter of him. doesn't rule out other possibilities though
This feels more like a retard who forgot his handgun in his backpack going through TSA security than an assassination attempt. A handgun and a shotgun aren’t assassination weapons.

Jerome of America Happens, a friend of Vem Miller, says Vem was not trying to assassinate Trump. "Vem is a staunch Trump supporter." He says this 11-13min into the show, for anyone checking the Rumble archive later. I agree, some dude who either forgot he had the guns or didn't think it would be an issue since they were in the car. Still weird he had fake VIP and press pass, but he is also a sovereign citizen so, that may just be the answer.

If the movies have taught me anything, this is not the first time a right-wing politician has tried to get his hands on this thing.

I believe James O'Keefe misheard the details though. It's actually six pounds of gold spray paint and plywood, and it took 2700 hours to ship from China.

It's a copy of the movie prop.

On a related note, I wonder if Israel ever got their stuff back.

There’s no fucking way this is real.

Is there?
A kilo of gold (just over 2lbs) is about the size of a smartphone. So if this thing was solid gold (or at least a hollow model with any form of structural integrity), no, it was not 6lbs.
Bit of shitty back of envelope math here. Wikipedia places the density at about 19g/cm3, rounding that to 20g/cm3, a kilo of gold is about 50cm3 in volume, which is equivalent to a 10cm x 5cm x 1cm cuboid.
As others have stated this is a replica of the Indiana Jones prop.

And, a description of the ark is made in exodus 25, which explicitly mentions having the angels having their wings spread UPWARDS, which this model does not have. Blasphemy, anyone?

The funniest outcome is that he’s a completely typical Trump fan, well within his legal rights, and the cops only pulled him due to a too obviously home-made license plate.

Just zero way to tell him apart from an armed maniac hell bent on killing the presidential nominee. Love to see it.
