The amount of fart huffing to even consider Zombie Simpsons as a counter example for AI writing is ridiculous. Plus you fucking know they framed it as the finale because if they've done it as a regular episode no one would've noticed.

Also FOX BAD despite them giving a stage to non right wing media unlike every other channel.

so I queued up all the Treehouses of Horrors for background noise, forgot how good the read on The Raven is, Castelahomerguy is great at mixing Homer and Poe, and JEJ could read the phone book and make it cool

So I actually read the article. Kamala said a line from a "classic" Simpsons episode. It was a line that the villain of the episode said. (Whichever one of the pair of aliens that took over Bill Clinton in the
96 tree house of horror episode.)

But the best part is, someone apparently *tricked* Harris into saying that line over a decade ago. (Despite it being more of less her current day campaign platform.) "Move forward cause we won't go back". Doesn't really seem like a win for her.

To be fair most modern Simpsons fans are the types who'd probably clap like seals and act like the Simpsons predicted it. Though if I had a nickel for everytime a political candidate said that specific line, I'd have two nickels, not a lot but odd it happened twice

I have noticed the whole "it's gpood again" copmments are usually heard towards episodes that are meta and follow a gimmick. The issue these people don't realize is that to what point do these these meta gimmick episodes remain good before getting stale? I yhave noticed that these "better episodes" get used as a reason why the show sholuldn't end, without any thought to the fact that eventuially the new direction that its in will wear off.

They think that the meta episodes means that they are smart for getting something that the peons don't understand. It's honestly pathetic. I can't wait for the Simpsons to have another celebrity shill episode like the Gaga and Musk episodes to see if these people will jack them off too.

But for the love of god, this show really needs to be put down already since every VA sounds way too old (barring Kelsey Grammer whose the only Simpsons VA who sounds fine)

All of the reviews for the episode can be summed as either 1. Being self reffernical anmd slef aware is cool and 2. It's good because muh WGA strikes. Many of thbese reviewers are also consumers of globohomo so it's not suprising that tyhey would eventually grow to like Zimbie Simpsons as they probably realized it promotes the same globohomo ideology that they like and want to support globohomo animators.

The production staff are genuinely obsessed with crowbarring this stale fucking hedge meme into the show whenever they can and have done so atleast four or five times IIRC, likely due to this being the only time in the last twenty years or so in which the simpsons was slightly culturally relevant beyond being the butt of "why the fuck is this show not dead yet? its been sucking ass for years" jokes

They also reuse the rake gag in bpoth the episode and the the short that was released which even reffered to it ad a tired gag.

Took anuddah look at the upcoming episodes because I hate myself and those around me and we are getting a musical episode about how guys are scared of menstruation...

Setting aside the AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSSSS, this reminded me of a dark prophesy made five years back, before the AI splosion in which a retarded little small dicked mongoloid forsaw the future and tried to warn us all of the nightmares to come

Ya know given the rate of tech advancement, its entirely probable that by the time the most crucial cast members start dying off, voice synthesizers will have gotten to the point where execs could just have an unpaid intern mumble lines into a mic and get pitch perfect Frank Azaria at his prime. Hell perhaps the execs are already hoping the OG cast dies/retires so they can roll out their 'new and improved' voice actors for a fraction of the cost.

I have a terrible feeling that the simpsons are going to outlive all of us...and that the last things we hear before we die will be the resurrected voice of Phil Hartman making a joke about twerking drag kids and Lisa's first period

I think David Mirkin might be one of the most overlooked creatives involved on The Simpsons. His tenure as showrunner really just brought in an absurdist tone that’s unique to Seasons 5 and 6. If you want Mirkin’s humor watch the severely underrated sitcom “Get A Life” with Chris Elliot.

Also make sure to buy quality weather strippings.

It is the only thing that I vividly remember disturbing on The Simpsons. I especially hated Santa’s Little Helper mauling Bart lol.
