It doesn't help that Null is egging it on with his "women are smol beanz who need special protection from me" attitude. I was on board with his general premise of Kiwi Farms being a rare place for women to share certain views (particularly on troons) where they would otherwise be brutalized for daring to be concerned about their own safety but he has taken it way too far. It's natural that when the more deranged men see Null doing all kinds of site changing and thread bannings in favor of the deranged women of the site who outside of this issues I mentioned are already coddled and deified everywhere else on the internet as paragons who can do no wrong and are always right and always treated as above men they would lash out against it.

Luckily it's mostly just a few dedicated retards outside of the occasional passerby shitposter. Lidl Drip and her equally retarded woman-hate detractors are brain-rotted and probably intensely lonely because of their weird hate for the opposite gender. I don't see much weird gender hate outside those groups. Following the rules of the internet I just assume everyone is male, but you passively find out when users you see post a lot are female and it turns out nobody is deriding them every time they post and they are just part of the conversation like normal, be it being agreed with or called a retard for what they post rather than their genders.

So, I think that the creation of the man-hate thread definitely did make some people act worse because of the double standards involved and riling up the retarded men and emboldening the retarded women, but both threads also tend to contain their retards so it's kind of a zero sum game in terms of total site retardation levels. It's best just to ignore the threads, there is nothing of value in either one.

It's making the site unfun and Reddit-like, honestly. It's childish, boring, and derails a lot of threads that have nothing to do with it.

The gender-wars sperging is one of the reasons I lost interest in most major social media platforms. I find I'm less inclined to browse now because this playground-tier "us vs. them" culture is sucking the fun out of a place I normally enjoy.

While I'm grateful Null's given us women a platform to speak our minds about AGPs and other anti-woman bullshit, this sort of thing isn't helpful for anybody. You're not empowering us by giving complete immunity to the "men need to be knocked down a peg" types. All it serves to do is make us look petty, immature, and like everything women-haters claim we are.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with these threads in theory, but it's having a negative impact on the website now. It's just not as enjoyable anymore. It needs to stop bleeding into every other thread. The gender-hate threads are not containment zones if they don't even contain.

I've come to disagree. I think these threads should exist, and it was right to grant the man-hate thread protection, but for the same reason that there are Gentlemen's Clubs and Ladies Nights, and why there are Stag Nights and Hen Nights, and why 'locker room' talk should stay in the locker room, it's probably socially necessary that the genders discuss the other amongst themselves. The differences between men and women are both human and existential, and its rather different for men and women to hear criticism about their entire sex from the other in a way they cannot reasonably defend - men get angry and aggressive, women become militant and hold a grudge - the people invested just end up point scoring or taking up the baton wherever. It's healthy to have candid discussions about the other gender, but not en-mass with instant resorts to crass generalizations that can get others roped in - with members of your own gender and then individuals on the other with who you can feel you can speak in a way that's plain.

Like, it would probably be the same result if we had a Goyim-hate thread that was Kosher-zoned.

That gooner leak should have just been amusing, but it turned into yet another satellite holy war about which sex is the naughtiest about pee-pees and cooties and calling people fat. Like I shouldn't need to care but to understand what's going on I need to navigate more incoherent events and characters than in a Dark Souls wiki.

Would you feel more comfortable if we added trigger warnings to all posts that don't coddle moid feefees?
