This is one of those "programs" on TV (as the old folks say) that I hear about, realize I've forgotten they exist, and then wonder who the fuck still watches them consistently.

Speaking of programs that are a shadow of what they once where: SNL is currently having it's landmark 50th season. But does anyone actually give a shit about it? I wonder if more people watched the Saturday Night (2024) film on its opening weekend than they did the real SNL. Statistically speaking, probably not overall, but for sure they did in individual areas.

I recommend Saturday Night (2024) by the way. My only complaint is there wasn't enough Jim Henson.

It's just like Bidens student loans thing, the (D) playbook lately is just promise a bazillion dollars to whoever's votes they want and when they can't provide it because it's blatantly disregarding laws then they just shrug cause they've already gotten voted in

So, ‘big brain’ take: what if all the poll fortification and the like to try and boost Kackles and Tampon Tim is less about winning the White House and more about trying to make the down-ballot D fraudslide that locks up Congress as intractable and anti-Drumpfenfuehrer seem more legitimate?

To paraphrase that one Bible verse, what is the God-Emperor profited if he should win the White House but lose the House and Senate?

easy: Lower the poverty line back to pre obama figures ($26k annual income?) repeal trump tax cuts, raise taxes on the wealthy to pay their fair share, now there's plenty of money to give cryptoretards money.

I said it a while back just because I don't ever like the chances of a VP running immediately. Also I'm pretty sure the economy will be better, but still not great

It wasn't even that! The Dem Candiate, in the middle of Covid, literally told parents to shut the fuck up he knows what best for their kids and wanted to keep in-person school closed. Youngkin whole campaign was "You know what is best for your kids, I'm going to open the schools".

Never forget that for an entire month after Biden was replaced with Kamala 100% of the media was in the tank for her telling you how excited the country was to vote for her, how she was immediately ahead 10 pts in the polls and all the billions of dollars rolling into her campaign.
