If what you're saying is true, then these rules clearly weren't enforced in the past. You only need to watch a few older It'sAGundam videos to see that it was hard to tell whether the clips were from Twitch or Chaturbate.

Even now, if you check Twitch’s X, you'll find plenty of examples of streamers pushing the boundaries, nearly naked or in thongs, which should be obvious violations of the platform’s rules, yet enforcement is inconsistent and this is what the vtubers cry about.
As such my theory that vtubers just haven't got around to fucking Twitch admins remains strong and undisputed.

A model costs up to several thousand dollars depending on quality, but yeah they can change it. The problem is it takes time and waiting for the artist and animator to do the work.
Now if alot of them have to change it at the same time, that would cause even more delays.

Aside from the cost, a lot of them would be unwilling to change their model since it's a big reason why people watch them.

For example, most of the audience for loli VTubers who do sexual or suggestive content are pedophiles. If someone like fallenshadow changed their model to an adult woman and dropped all the child-like mannerisms, their audience would halve overnight.

A lot of the audience for VTubers with sexualized models are coomers. If they changed their model to a compliant one, their audience would also shrink.

For the VTubers that Twitch is targeting, their current model is most of their appeal.

Still, as @xxs said, this isn't a problem for Rev. I don't think anyone would really care if he changed his model; he's just grifting off this like he always does.

Feels like they took insperation from serval myths around the world.
Among those stoires there is a commantary of Suguru Nakatsui. When they did their reasearch on myths around the world they noticed that in older myths that the lines between humans and animals are blurred. Especially in cultures that only had only oral tradition. If anything they got inspired by those, because of world building reasons.
