What have you recently eaten?

I have a similar kind of allergy to apples, but I can mitigate it mostly by washing the apple in hot water and wiping it dry. I've started eating apples frequently because they're a cheap snack and I think I'm developing a tolerance to it too.
That's weird, are you sure it's the apples that you're allergic to?

I believe apples not only could have a natural layer of a waxy substance in their superficial layer (which is natural), but sometimes additional waxes are added to fruits in order to conserve them better, and even to make them more appealing to customers (more shiny).

These additional waxes can be of several types, I'm not entirely sure about them, but I believe some are not very healthy.

It's also interesting that you're mentioning "hot water" and "wiping them dry" to clean them up, because those are some of the steps I've heard in order to (partially) get rid of that outer layer of wax. So maybe you're allergic to that, and not the apple itself?

Mrs and I went to see Beetlejuice 2 a second time, 2x2 laugh away. But had a diner meal, almost hit shake shack (based) but did the best 2 eggs rye toast and scrapple. I'm a PA Dutch nigga we eat that... don't judge me.

Husband brought home a Tupperware of venison stew from his nephew's house. I ate a bowl today then thought to ask hey where did the deer come from. He answered idk probably a roadkill deer? And I say ok but your nephew is like 20 something and lives in an apartment you know a lot goes into processing a deer carcass correctly right. Tasted good just hoping nothing horrible happens to my insides

I have a weakness for sugar cookies in whimsical shapes, this one is actually made by a local baker for my favorite coffee shop. Paired with a cappuchino for a perfect workday break :)

Made a cucumber salad with onion, smoked salmon, dill, cream cheese, capers, everything bagel seasoning, and garlic. It was okay but the consistency was not what I had hoped for. Would have been better as a sandwich or on crackers, I think.

I agree. I doubt it is the apples themselves causing the allergy and is some kind of goyslopwax they spray the apples with, since it doesn't happen when I wash the apples thoroughly and wipe them dry.

I've been looking for menus with this on it, and can't find them, but the places I've seen that offer it, it seems people order the feta cheese omelet off the menu and then since the place also serves gyros, they also have the sauce.

It might just be I know a bunch of weirdos who order stuff like this and it happens to be available because they have the ingredients.

I personally love just a feta omelet, nothing but feta.

This is actually ridiculously popular in the Midwest. There are competing brands. It is not "Greek" in any sense, it's just a weird sauce someone invented that is now served over pasta. Things like firehouses trying to raise money often have something like a chili night that involves serving it over spaghetti.

And I just went to WP and it said it's actually apparently popular in parts of the Middle East, too. Why? I have no idea. It's actually pretty good if you want an abnormal sauce for pasta.

Earlier today I got to pillage the remaining tomatoes out of a gardener friend's garden (the one who has been giving me tomatoes all year) and I'm going to make very traditional marinara sauce out of the five pounds of plum tomatoes I got before he mowed it under because the season is over.
Greek omelets are also very popular in the tri-state area almost every diner/deli/bagel place will have it on the menu

I had rub rib left over from a rack of baby back ribs I made, so I've been mixing it in with ground turkey thighs and doing it butter burger style and grilling the buns while cooking the turkey burgers.

I tried out a few of these breakfast tarts. They were fine, the crust leaned towards dry, but they were decent. One didn't have quite enough filling, but the other ones were good.

I made some french toast with that fancy croissant bread you see some stores carrying, it was delicious.

A friend of mine s planning on, if he can get a reservation, treating me to dinner at Toadstool Café in at Super Nintendo World during this yearly HHN run. I haven't eaten there in a while but I like some of the items they offer.

One of those delicious falafel hot dogs with cinnamon and bacon on top.

Some pumpkin pie, pumpkin preserve and graviera cheese on the side and a plain coffee because its pumpkin month.
