2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Continuing on information posted earlier about the pager operation mossad launched against hezbollah, I found a mastodon post from september looking into the footprint of the LI-BT783 batteries, which shows that the battery barely had any trace online and there were posts on 2 forums inquiring if anyone knew about the LI-BT783 battery that were subsequently deleted once webpages claiming to sell the battery pack popped up online

So the United States and other partner nations just launched a raid against the Huthies in Yemen using B-2 bombers. These bombers are the only ones who can carry the GBU-57 massive ordnances penetrator. (furthermore, it sends a signal to Iran) Also, a US government official let it slip that the US-Israel partnership is so close that Israel basically gets a blank check from the USA. Other countries that get this privilege are the 5-eyes nations.

If I were to assume, I would say that in exchange for THAAD, taking out Houthi rockets and storage units, intel sharing, marking that PFLP terrorist group a terrorist group, backing them in the UN, coalition building, and other things, we will see in due time. Israel promised not to knock out Iranian nuclear and oil sites. However, this does mean that Israel might have free reign at Iranian missile, governmental, nuclear labs, and other related infrastructures. Fun fact: the Iranians keep launching their rockets from the same places EVERY TIME. They wheel them out from their bunkers/caves. Shoot them and then wheel them back into the same bunkers/caves. So, Israel doesn't need to do much to do massive damage. The Israelis understand that they alone can not regime change Iran (only the USA can do that); they, however, can cripple Iran greatly.

On a domestic front, a robust overt action to help Israel (guns, not aid) will do well to shore up support for Harris as many do not trust her/Biden to be pro-Israel.

The problem, is being as pro-Israel is exactly what Harris doesn't want at a moment like this. Muslims and pro-Palestine types vote or more importantly don't vote when motivated to stay home. Harris can't afford to lose Michigan, as Pennsylvania is already locked in for Trump. Than its one more state (any state) and Trump becomes the 47th president of the United States.

I would be more worried about losing the Jewish vote than losing the small Muslim vote. Being Anti-Israel is very, very, very unpopular, and the college Hamas supporters are even less so. Pandering to Muslims and Pro-Palestines might win you a few percentage points among Dems, but it tanks you among most other voters (I'm talking in the 10s of points). Look at the latest Harvard-Harris poll.

These attacks signal to Iran (mainly) that the USA doesn't need to put boots on the ground to remove the IRGC and the Mullahs permanently. They can do it all from the air and let the Iranians take back their country.

It's a half measure. Part of the reason there has been such a steady but inexorable escalation is the USA under Biden has, much like with the Ukraine War, slow rolled its involvement to try and be a mediating force when all parties involved know that the USA is anything but, and more importantly by trying to play both sides off the middle simply comes across as a flake.

Remember the Gaza Aid Pier? Pepperidge Farms Remembers. Pepperidge Farms also remembers that Biden put it into his State of the Union, and it lasted all of a week.

Ukraine is not in much of a position to tell Uncle Sugar to stuff it, But Israel is, and the invasion of Lebanon is proof enough of it. On a related note, Ukraine did invade Russia proper a few months ago too despite the USA strenuously being against it.

The B-2 bombing of the Houthis wasn't aimed at Iran. It was signaling to Israel that the USA is totally not a flake and will bring out the big guns if necessary.

I respect your theory but I simply cant believe that the us isnt fully involved (behind the scene) with all this.
the pager,hamas/hezbo leaders assassination and so on. while the dems are playing both sides during media questioning and denying any knowledge or involvement, I fully believe the opposite to be true.

I think using the B2 was mostly about not needing to use a reigonal airbase.

I also think hitting the bunkers was to deter more infrastructure attacks from the Israelis. We hit what they couldn't.

THAAD or no THAAD, I don't think Israel can protect it's power infrastructure.
In the Statement released earlier by U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin regarding tonight’s Strikes against the Houthis in Western Yemen, he states that these Strikes using B-2 “Spirit” Long-Range Stealth Bombers were a “Unique Demonstration of the United States’ ability to target Facilities that our Adversaries seek to keep out of reach, no matter how Deeply Buried Underground, Hardened, or Fortified - Anytime, Anywhere.”
