Great job by Bret Baier in his Interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris. She has a massive and irredeemable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME - So bad, in fact, that she is barely able to talk about any subject other than the man who had the best economy ever, the strongest border in history, and who just got the UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE U.S. Border Patrol, ME! Their Endorsement was a TREMENDOUS HONOR!!! They said that Comrade Kamala did a terrible job, the absolute worst in memory, and can’t be allowed to do it again. She is also the WORST Vice President in history, but hopefully will soon be GONE. Again, congratulations to Bret Baier on a tough but very fair interview, one that clearly showed how totally incompetent Kamala is. For the good of our Nation, her inferior Cognitive ability must be tested at once!

trump did the following I liked
a. treated the audience with respect even when they had hard questions, did not get belligerent
b. very charming at times liked his jokes about the question about saying good things about kamala
c. admitted to the jan 6 guy he's sticking to his perspective on jan 6 and isn't afraid to admit he might not change the guy's mind
d. didn't mention his former bad picks by name stuck to only attacking kamala and biden and one or two dem govs/mayors but people with actual power keeping things shitty where they run stuff

Well, I guess in light of the absolute shitshow for the Harris Campaign that took place tonight, I think we can rule out the Joe Rogan interview now ... And I can totally picture Joe Rogan canceling the Trump interview if Kamala backs out to appear "unbiased."
Anyone else think they're going to try the basement strategy again with her? What other choices do they have at this point?
This last ditch media blitz effort took place because the basement strategy was leaving her numbers stagnant ... But her poll numbers have cratered since making more appearances (spoiler: it's because she's a "cock juggling thundercunt," as Ryan Reynolds from Blade 3 would put it, lol).
The Democrats are in a very, very real Catch 22. If you hide her in the basement, then it's going to depress voter turnout and harm the down ballot races for the Dems. If you continue this media blitz, it's going to reflect poorly on the entire Democrat party because she's a unlikable bitch with no plan whatsoever.
Genuinely ... What do you do at this point if you're working for the Harris campaign? Yikes.

This is the area he tends to be right on though.
Poso has a -lot- of inroads to low to mid level staffers. he has more or less the same type of connections I do. Where he is often wrong is taking the rumor mill at face value or making logical leaps beyond what he is told.
For what its worth I can back him on this though, the rumors out of her campaign right now are -wild-. Just none I would be comfortable with pushing beyond she absolutely is getting hammered right now.

One correction, her polls weren't stagnant with the basement strategy, they were sliding. She was slowly losing ground and given the repeatedly stated reasons for undecideds they were expecting them to break heavily for Trump.
What -I- do not get is her refusal to talk policy. That is clearly the point of the media blitz but she just. never. does. And it is not a -lack- of policy either, she can bullshit whatever the hell she wants. hell she could cite her "80 points" verbatim. No. this is purely a Harris issue. The woman just cannot get policy out, my best guess is her mind just utterly blanks as soon as it comes up.
The fun part for the sympathetic interviews is spotting where the interviewer was told to expect to hear policy and is surprised when she says jack.

At least this time she told everyone to go to her website to check out her policies. Which by my count may be the best she’s done as far as giving voters concrete stuff.
I’m not sure that helps her though. Closing a rough interview with what basically is equivalent to a YouTuber saying “don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe it really helps out the channel” is I believe called a “””bad look””” by the kids these days.

Pure lunacy, these people need to realize that "but orange man!" isn't going to play to either the audience of Fox nor the people who will end up seeing the clips. Sure, her answers were fine for one of her rallies, or literally anywhere else the audience is full of the people who were going to vote for her no matter what, but two and a half weeks before the election when you are backsliding in the polls really isn't the time to do that shit in a hostile interview. Whoever told her that reusing the 2020 campaign playbook for an interview with fucking FOX was acceptable is either dumb as dirt or an actual saboteur.

While I do not disagree with that characterization. What makes me qualified to answer it is that it was literally my job to understand what they want and sell my candidates on them. And while I am a retired political analyst now I do retain a lot of friends and colleagues still in who are having fun watching this trainwreck.

I think they were really screwed from the start. The only scenario they had was Biden not seeking reelection and then running a regular primary imo. Instead they went with Kacklin Kam and we’ve seen how that’s gone

A Kamala interview on Fox draws in viewers, even non-Fox viewers, because it's an interesting premise. Kamala gets interviewed on the nominally Trump friendly network, what'll happen? It's like a Trump interview on CNN, you watch to see the two people get into a slapfight on TV. But Trump always gets into slapfights in cable interviews except with people like Tucker or O'Reilly, Hannity etc.
But Kamala going on Fox was interesting to me because I didn't know what was gonna happen. And I didn't expect it to be this bad, but it's bad. And this is gonna get exposed to a lot more people because of its intriguing premise as the "Kamala interview on Fox".

You'd think that because Kamala didn't receive a single vote in the primaries to get the nomination that she would be more inclined to put her policies out there more. Nope! This is who we get, and we better like it or we're racist or something. Lovely!
I was about to call what you described a uniquely Kamala problem, but really ... If she loses in a few weeks, we have the Democrats' hubris to blame. They seriously think they can just bypass a primary to select their candidate instead of the voters having a say on the matter, and that there would be no repercussions from it. Amazing.
