Do you think gamblers:
A. Are more likely to go with the crowd
B. Are more likely to go with high-odds bets
C. Have secret insight into the state of the race

Everyone I talk to says C, and I always feel like a crazy person because I don't think of gambling addicts as people guided by reason. :lossmanjack: What do you guys think?

Well, the main difference is that if you're betting on baseball, you're not supposed to have inside information or be on the actual team.

Polymarket encourages direct insider trading, which at least theoretically could create a market based on real insider knowledge. However, it can also lead to market manipulation or even the manipulation of politicians by their advisers. Imagine if someone advising Harris had put a million dollar bet on Walz as VP at 15:1 before the decision was final, now imagine that person advising. People will now put ideas into the heads of every decision-maker based on an unrevealed financial stake in the outcome.

It's been a talking point since 2016, dude.
sigh... I know this...

they appear to have trotted this out just recently, possibly as a response to the report that some federal law has changed (by their doing) to encourage military response to election results denial. Im guessing it all started this week or the previous one.

Reactions: Hey Johnny Bravo
I wonder if she's just trying to prosecution lawyer herself to a victory. You'd think that a woman who is so supposedly known for being a prosecutor could be a concise knife when it comes to laying down evidence and framing of information. Or, you know, convincing most of the jury that the person she wants to fuck over is actually a criminal. Oh well.

i looked for the sinola cartel prosecution mentioned in the fox interview, she nabbed some drug mules in a drug bust. but mules are easy come easy go, doesn't look like she grabbed any cappos.

"He's gonna use troops on Americans!!!!"

Can someone fill me in where this new asinine talking point originated and with whom it did? I see this everywhere now.
he wants to use the national guard to break up antifa riots.

I think it's less any of those and more the aggregate of people's guesses who have something to lose if they are wrong is more accurate than the aggregate of modern pollsters. They also are a lot more interesting to me since they react much quicker and are less susceptible to any one group's bias.

So? I'm sure this won't be a popular opinion here, but I think that people should have their rights more or less restored after they have served their sentence. If they're a convicted pedophile then, yeah, they should not be allowed to live near schools and should be monitored. If they're a convicted murderer then, yeah, the government should restrict their access to firearms. However, there are a lot of ex-cons who get out and get their shit together. The ones who don't end up back in jail (rights taken away) or dead (no longer an issue).

Man, the Democrats really care about addicts until they're Republicans.
If you can't vote you shouldn't have to pay taxes. No taxation without representation. Granted I think most people would probably go out and commit the lowest possible sentence felony and do a year or two in the pen if it meant not having to pay taxes anymore.

Probably because the big boys are further East doing their shit. Seems like the boys going to California are sticking to less violent drug deals when compared to the Venezuelans. Pretty sure they're all still her fault, yeah?

I did a little google search on the topic 'cuz, y'know, we're talking about it, aaaaand...

This is what's been allowed to happen.

There's of course multiple instances of it across New York, too.

‘Little Devils’

Meanwhile, "Los Diablos de la 42" -- Spanish for "Little Devils of 42nd Street"-- have proven to be a big problem for Times Square and the NYPD.

"[Times Square is] their threshold, that's where they feel comfortable, that's where they post to social media," Savino said.

Police officials say they're working to nab members of the Los Diablos – a subset of the Tren de Aragua. Sources tell the New York Post about 20 young migrants are targeting locals and tourists in numerous robberies and other crimes at the "Crossroads of the World."

"There is no deterrence," the source added. "You have a 15-year-old who continues to treat our city like his personal video game."

    Senator Jacky Rosen

According to her website, Rosen has served on subcommittees on Cybersecurity, Strategic Forces, and Emerging Threats and Capabilities, among others. Rosen has been a Nevada resident for more than 40 years, living with her husband Larry in Henderson, according to her website biography.

    Sam Brown

A Purple Heart recipient and small businessman, Brown was medically retired as a Captain after being injured in a roadside bomb explosion in Afghanistan in 2008. He later launched a small business providing emergency pharmaceutical support to veterans, according to his website. Brown and his wife, Amy Larsen, moved to Nevada after visiting the area early in their marriage, and they have three children.

this is the answer he said something in a speech the other day about if things get hairy after the election he will use the police and possibly the national guard if necessary to get things under control. In lefty speak this means that he is going to round up everyone and kill them

Call me stupid, but i trust this more than pollsters. A). It isn't a representative sample and isn't subject to bias on the part of the people conducting the poll,. B). It's completely voluntary and the people who are going to engage will engage on their own, and C). Opinions are backed by something of value that people can lose if they're wrong. So there's an incentive to perform due diligence.

I'm sure some fact checker on the Harris payroll will write some bullshit article claiming that it's either 'misinformation', not accurate, invalid because of the reasons I mentioned above, foreign interference (it's the only one I can maybe buy, unless only enfranchised U.S. citizens can participate) or that they just don't like it and you need to trust the experts, peasant. With this in hand, MSNPC can direct every media outlet in the country to canvass this story and shout the illegitimately of PolyMarket from the rooftops.

I wasn't this conspiratorial 4.5 years ago....

Trump is doing the Al Smith Catholic Roast tonight, while Kamblah is the first candidate in decades to not attend.

He won't do the 60 minutes interview because they lied and never admitted they lied. CNBC one, never heard about it, probably fake and gay considering how he beat that Bloomberg fag like a drum. 2nd Kamablah debate is on her, she said there would be only one, and we are to believe all women, right?

A bit late to the party on this but there are parts of the country where tap water is not safe to drink. Not just high profile urban centers with lead pipes like Flint, but large swaths of the rural South and Appalachia where the plumbing infrastructure has been totally neglected or just plain doesn't exist. So yes, bottled water can and should be SNAP eligible. It's easy to forget just how deep poverty in America goes.
I dare anyone to drink chicongo tap water and tell me how their stomach feels after.

e: same with orlando florida. that water tastes awful even with a brita

He arrogantly believed that if she would just plainly state her policies to the "reasonable" TDS Republicans she would get an easy "W". Unfortunately for Karl Rove, Kamala Harris is a retard.
Sure is a lot of that going around. Did nobody ever pay attention to her career prior to anointing her as the perfect fusion of Obama and Hillary? Obama had to stump for her because she was losing her AG run.
