Instead of doing all of the groundwork necessary to get into position to run a campaign, Wu's basically making campaign speeches already. She's LARPing as a political candidate and the novelty is going to wear off the moment she realises hard work is involved. She just wants a bigger "I am wymyn, hear me reeeee" platform because "journalism" didn't work out too well for her. It's all about the trappings and accessories for Wu.

How long until she morphs from candidate Barbie Brianna to publisher Barbie. The only way she's going to get a platform where her voice is the most important is to go all Oprah and publish her own magazine.

Arbitration would cost Wu $1500 just to be heard. They wouldn't win unless they could prove the domain was purchased under the intent to be sold for a higher price to Wu or be used for commercial gain. So as long as the owner doesn't demand a bunch of money for the domain from Wu or start selling "Wu for Congress" t-shirts, they are fine. Also the vague threat of going to the FBI would not play well with an arbitrator. It is not harassment or illegal to purchase a domain like that. Every politician has it happen to them.

....that's my Congressman. She will lose. Badly. That area is moderately conservative. That bitch hasn't traveled past Columbia Road. She is in for a rude awakening.

It's South Boston. Lynch wins because he grew up in a blue-collar family in the neighborhood. His Dad was an ironworker and so was he in early adulthood. Big time union guy who was the head of his local chapter.

This is probably the worst district she could run in. She is going to try to convince a bunch of blue-collar Catholics to vote for an unemployed transgender woman from the suburbs. She's going to run on the issue of women in tech to a bunch of grizzled factory workers who are losing their jobs to technology. And she's going to do this against a staunch Catholic who has been in Congress for nearly two decades that has spent his entire life in that neighborhood and worked in those factories alongside his constituents.

I thought it'd be funny for her to go up against the war hero with a Physics degree from Harvard. But a nutty trans woman campaigning to the people of South Boston is going to be epic.
