Virginia is one of them I will be watching closely. If it goes red I feel like we will be having a much less stress inducing night than otherwise, because if VA goes red that gives Trump more wiggle room with the swing states already pulling fraud fuckery like MI and GA. I feel like its possible because Youngkin does seem to have done a good job of things and his election security work should be a benefit, if VA suddenly goes red though it becomes blatantly obvious that the influence from the fed in NoVA was tipping the scales in the past.

It’s all astroturfed. I saw a reddit post praising Kamala after the Fox interview, sorted by controversial, and there were a lot of people speaking up and saying that it was a horrible interview. Mind you, all of them had between 40 and 80 upvotes, they were just controversial because whatever superPAC is plaguing reddit wanted to silence them.

I'm not going digging through archived folders, but the reason the experience of reading Reddit falls into the uncanny valley is that probably 5% of the content that hits the front page hasn't either been curated, fabricated or manipulated to be there, and that 5% is probably only there because something else is being hidden. On-topic examples include:

• In 2016, there were leaks indicating that David Brock's orgs (ShareBlue, Correct the Record, etc) supporting HRC had paid $3-6 million to the mods in order to take control of r/Politics.
• In 2017 or 18 a UI "glitch" caused multiple subreddits, including r/TheDonald, r/Conservative and r/SandersForPresident, among others that the Reddit admins would be ideologically opposed to, to display a sub count that was 11.6x greater than the typically displayed subcount. This impact was not site wide.
  • At the same time this was going on, ideologically "favored" subs were displaying a lower sub count.
  • Reporting a lower than real sub count is probably not defrauding advertisers, inflating a sub count almost certainly is.

I'd like to think in my various lines of work I learned how to empathize and figure out how other people are thinking no matter how different, but sincerely can't even imagine the mental state required to live in such an absolute opposite's day reality 24/7 and never feel bad or doubtful about it even once.
