Post videos of people dying - Self explanatory really

I'd say its the opposite. Extreme violence and gore, and bad shit in general has always been prevalent throughout human history. Having dark humor about it is a coping mechanism.
I disagree because the people I'm talking about are all chronically online, entirely first world, usually absorbed by US politics, and don't actually seem to have much real world experience. Check out the NAFO accounts. They're all limp wristed trannies or boomers. The level of glee these people have when they watch people get killed goes way beyond dark humor. EMS doesn't ridicule someone as they die, nor do morticians hope the former inhabitants of corpses burn in hell. The guy in my university for example is absolutely sheltered. Guy can't even drive. His mother drops him off and picks him up.

There's no way these people have ever stood next to someone they've known for years, turn their head, and find that person slumped on the ground, body not working anymore, and nobody home upstairs, never to be home ever again. I don't know what that's like, and I hope I never do know.

I'd say its the opposite. Extreme violence and gore, and bad shit in general has always been prevalent throughout human history. Having dark humor about it is a coping mechanism. I mean, how many bar fights back in the day ended in somebody getting stabbed and bleeding out on the floor? How often was it for travelers on the road to be attacked by bandits? How often were you at war, how often did the tribe/nation next door send a raiding party to attack your town, or you did the same to them? And that's not to mention how often people died in workplace accidents. Or were attacked by wild animals.
Prevalent yes, there is no question. But the size of the exposure was much much less. Your day-to-day life had more risk of brutal death, with a much lower quality of life, but the death and violence was limited to your locality. To your own personal circumstances: your village, your tribe.

The analogy to the modern day would be having a constantly updating billboard in the middle of the town square, which you encounter every day on your way to collect firewood: showing every other tribesman/woman from different tribes around the world that were killed by a falling tree, mutilated by a bandit, killed in a raid or various images of the aftermath. 80-100 years ago I may have been in the position of losing family in WW1/WW2 but I didn't see all of their final moments in 4K, or their bodies (and every other body) being paraded around for all to see. This wasn't the case even 10/15 years ago. Now, I can grab some popcorn and watch body cam footage of soldiers retrieving a hostage from some backwater hellhole in the ME.

Agree on the dark humour. That's always been a reliable coping method for dealing with these sorts of things.

Maybe I'm just getting old but there's something fucked about how much gore and raw war footage is just freely shared on Twitter, TikTok and other social media sites with no warning or filter. I'm old enough to remember when the 144p Saddam Hussein execution video was shared around school for shock value. Either that or the odd rare beheading video from the first and second Chechen wars. Now, there are cartel videos, crime scene photographs, school shootings, the aftermath of Ukrainian and Russian drone strikes, Syrian civil war, Isis videos, dead Palestinian kids...the list goes on. Pure sadistic violence with no filter.

It's educational, to know how the world really is. But I can't help feel a bit shocked by how casual it is now, to the point where I see an image like that dead Hamas leader and sort of shrug it off.
Americans especially have always had this weird thing where practically limitless violence can be depicted openly and freely without much consequence, but god help you if you show a woman's nipple or even a buttock (of either sex -- it was a massive controversy when a man showed his bare ass on NYPD Blue back in the 90's).

It's the same now on social media. You can show all the violence you want, but the minute you post an attractive human in a state of undress or say the word "nigger," you're banned.

We're a bunch of confused prudes.

I’m on mobile and I don’t have the spoons to get on my PC and download that shit.
Shove those "spoons" up your ass.

99% of the violence you see on tv or in movies is censored or cartoonish. Bad guys take dozens of rounds but there's hardly any blood or gore. People get hit with objects, and don't have lots of bleeding or bruises. Stuff is censored, and we understand its censored.

Sorry.
The day that retards learn their phones can download files and archive links too can't come soon enough.

Big fan of this guy's reaction:

Don't forget how Fear Factor came on at dinner time. Full view of some people eating a bull's cock with onions but if a little cleavage shows it's blur time. These were things happening in the same episode of the same show. Crazy.

Now-a-days, though? It's treated like porn by an alarming amount of people. Something to get off to. Something to be gawked at, joked about, laughed at, and celebrated.
Yeah, that's why I like this thread as opposed to places like WPD or Documenting Reality. Those places are full of creepy people that are waaaaay too into the videos. The pictures of dead girls thread on Documenting Reality is full of serial killers I'm sure.

They're very selective with what they release and whether it's censored or not. They don't normally release videos of them blatantly murdering people. They quietly declare it justified without scrutiny or some bystander releases a video they took of it like in this case.
The police will murder Whites without hesitation, but will let niggers stab them before shooting.

The Bible is pretty violent but almost devoid of sex, save a few snippets like Solomon’s Song. Half of Jesus’s schtick was that he was born without two people fucking. The other half was that he was crucified.

Which is hilarious because you'll usually find unconditional submission and love for police among white people, who police routinely shoot dead without provocation, while at the same time find the most vitriolic hatred for police among niggers, who the police treat with kid gloves. I think it all just comes down to the fear of reprisal. When police murder too many white people, the most severe reaction is some gofundmes for funeral costs, and some lawsuits against the department that get paid out by the taxpayers.

I remember this. Dallas, right? They had to use a bomb disposal robot equipped with a pound of C4 to take him out.

Yup. There was another incident like a week or so after this in Baton Rouge where another black guy did the exact same thing with the exact same motivations. So I suppose since then, the police have been too afraid to treat niggers the same way they treat white people. It took four years for another chimp event to happen because they were doing such a good job treating niggers with kid gloves that it took some nigger overdosing on video to trigger it. So they had to do the unthinkable and toss one of their own under the bus to try and quell the chimpout.

Holy shit, not sure if the cops were incompetent or if he was the fuckin protagonist.
