>Makes a bunch of shitty tweaks to the dialogue nobody fucking wanted
>Doesn't change the parts of dialogue people actually didn't like, such as the constant yapping during the final boss

What's his problem?

I'd guess he has a Superiority Complex in the same way Sean Shemmel does for voicing Goku. He wants to be THE Writer for Sonic, rather than just another link in the chain of writers over the years. However, unlike every other writer, Flynn has a habit of throwing his employers under the bus whenever an idea of his goes south. He knows people are familiar with the idea of Executive Meddling, and he's gonna exploit it if it means he gets off scot-free.

If Maria wasn't born with the Sonic equivalent of HIV-AIDS like most children diagnosed with it are, who gave it to her?

Well, since Sonic is a E-10 rated series for the most part, we have assume she got it from the non-sexual ways you can get it.

I deeply apologize for inadvertently putting Maria r34 into your minds if I did so.

Edit: She... ate Italian Food, and got AIDS from that?

Gerald clearly was given custody by the family court, hence why the rest of her family's never around.
Whatever Maekawa had in mind for 'NIDS' was probably more like rabies. Once it makes the jump into the nervous system, there's no stopping the deterioration. That's what Ian's perception of NIDS is, going off his writing for the comics.

They've already retconned the bit about her never being to Earth.

Dude, the lore autists are gonna chew him up! He's already fucked up by saying Shadow stops time when he really just warps with Chaos Control.

ShTH's implementation of Chaos Control as a gameplay mechanic during bossfights is stopping time.
Yeah, but that's a gameplay mechanic. Hell, you could argue that we're seeing things from Shadow's perspective when Chaos Control is active, but the opening CG obviously shows him warping, which is what everyone else sees.

Switch version of Shadow Generations has leaked, so take that as you will.
Time to update my username when @MarkM gets even more than 30 game overs!

What are the chances this isn't a retcon but an alternative universe story? Not like this would be new, they played around with time paradoxes in '06 and I guess the entire "story" of Generations was about Sonic going to alternative universes. Classic Sonic seems to just kinda come and go as he pleases, so why not Shadow?

I'm surprised that we don't know yet, considering the whole thing's leaked. Speaking of, I've seen multiple reports that says the Switch version actually runs pretty well. That's nice to know.

NIDS is probably a stand in for genetic neurodegenerative diseases, like Tay-Sachs disease or ALS for example.
