The mod takes place in 2020 and 2021. But Patriot Front only really started getting real acusations of glowniggery in later 2021 from what I remember despite them being formed I believe in 2017. It's possible that they were infiltrated and subverted in 2021 as the Biden administration put massive new fed funding towards "countering right wing extremism".

However a much better and simpler explanation is to assume that in the in game world they are a true and honest faction. The timeline of TFR does have quite a few differences to what actually happened during Trump's first term so the devs making PF a legit faction instead of a glowie one makes perfect sense.

I do want to say that the mod team did a very, very respectable job at depicting each faction's viewpoints. I think this post is the closest to the truth as can be expressed. I do want to say that PF has moved away from what can be described as fascism in the 21st century's sense of the word, and have been forming cordial relations with similar movements (prominently the New Columbia Movement, a Christian (predominantly Catholic) Nationalist organization.

Many PF members embraced Christianity during COVID, like a lot of zoomers/millenials have been doing over the past six years. I think if PF survives and isn't infiltered by the government, a sorta populist-nativist-Christian-Authoritarian Republican alliance will be realized between these groups and gain legitimacy in rural/suburban society. They'll no longer be a street movement, but actually own property and influence society in more tangible ways.

If the mod team is reading this, I want to express a genuine gratitude to you all, as you've made me fondly remember writing to people like Paul Miller and interacting with people from all spheres of weird/fringe political movements. Because I like the mod so much, I've went back through their archives and want to share some really well made pieces by the organization. Regardless of if you approve of them or not, I'm a huge sucker for cool art.

This comment reminded me of another observation I made: This mod is giving me MAJOR first release TNO vibes. This is a good thing btw.

I want to expand on this comment. When TNO first came out I didn't play anything else until I went through everything the mod had to offer, I was stoked for all the upcoming content that was planned as well. But the following months (and years) completely eroded any enthusiasm or care I had for the mod. After four years I feel the same way for TFR, I can't wait to dig in to all the available content. I hope to God the same thing doesn't happen here, but this is HOI4 Modding we're talking about...

It's really weird because random comments from people like you offer a better summary of PF than PF themselves do on their promotion. Again, this if from post-2021 PF though so I can't be sure it is the real deal.

Fun fact: Even if you take into account the new, less strict abortion laws meant to go into effect in 2025 Denmark still has more restrictive abortion than about half of the USA. Have you tried finding him through Telegram? i'm 90% sure there are still Gypsy Crusader telegram groups which he is either involved with directly or has affiliated himself with. Will say though, i do recall there being a bit of drama involving him saying Sexual shit to people (Possibly to a minor, idk can't remember the whole thing)

One thing that made me heavily interested in the Atomwaffen stuff was because i had run ins with guys like Vex back in the day on the Cord, not very fun since Vex is a Rat and a massive sped who was pretty much trying to discredit AWD at the time. I actually emailed the American Futurist to on a throwaway to ask them about stuff regarding people such as Vex etc.. since they had an article in which they pretty much stated that people were allowed to email them with questions about it.
If i still have this email i am willing to share it here.

Another thing i am interesting in finding out, did AWD's Siege and Christian paths In regards to Sutter, i noticed that while his fate is sealed in the Christian path, there surprisingly isn't a single mention of him being a Federal Informant (Since he was one well prior to AWD being even created) and how his entire objective in AWD was to destroy it.

Also in regards to NSC being mentioned, as of now, i'm pretty sure they are actually feuding with PF, Last i heard, PF members got jumped by them and now have to bring extra muscle when vetting new guys in New England because of how frequent NSC would ambush them. NSC i'm pretty sure are on good terms with the AWD guys (Since American Futurist/AF still shout them out and praise that Natsoc PF splinter group in Texas)
From what i've read, this shit all happened because of a number of factors but PF's leadership kept being retarded and would shit talk over movements, including AWD, that and they're quite incompetent (Like keeping their guys private info resulting in them all getting doxxed) and hold Thomas up on a pedestal like he's the next Adolf Hitler.
