I clicked off of it the second they proclaimed themselves the "arch-nemesis of the mainstream media." If you have something to say, just fucking say it. Quit with the dramatics. "Arch-nemesis." Okay buddy.

Edit: you can tell just by how they’re hyping it up that the video is the most inane shit. If it was important you’d put the news in the title or outright show what the video’s actually about. Not that clickbait bullshit.

Posts like this are concerning to me. We are living through multiple consecutive historic moments, most of them within the span of two to three months, and yet the brainrot is so deep, that not even 24 hours after the McD's stunt people are already starting to forget.
In 2016 every single powerful institution wanted you to know that they were "with her" and you were constantly bombarded with reminders of the fact. The media became a 24/7 Trump circus and there was the added drama with Bernie. In 2020 Trump's enemies set the world on fire, with a global pandemic and berserk riots which were substantially campaign tactics to force his removal from office.

Compared to that I can understand why this year feels "quiet." Trump and Biden/Harris definitely have a presence but it's not overwhelming like it was in the last two cycles. There could be a number of reasons:

The media wanting less attention on the race in order to conceal Biden's senility - a continuation of the 2020 basement tactic.

After Harris took over and even after she started her interview tour they're low-key continuing the basement tactic because she's so unappealing.

Dem constituencies are starting to butt heads (see Israel/Palestine and trans grooming) which leads to disagreement about what the message should be, thus less messaging is done.

A big part of the media hype in 2016 was Trump coverage, which gave him the win, so they don't want to repeat that.

Corporate backers feel like the Dems haven't delivered on their promises and DEI is rotting their organizations from the inside so they don't want to be as nakedly partisan anymore (hi Zuckerberg).

"Future shock" - so much craziness is happening people are losing the ability to process it and put it in context.

I hate how people say "too big to rig". y'all think democrats are gonna care? they just gonna make the most ridiculous looking vertical chart ever and no one will ever question it

Yeah, she’s gonna win by about 400 million votes, the most votes in US history! What's that? There are only about 300 million people living in the US? Facts don’t matter when you’re dealing with alternative math! Don’t be a sexist straight, white male, chud.

I choose truth over facts. %100-%800 voter turnout is just proof that Drumpfh is the next heckin’ Hitler #girlmath

It drives me nuts how well that shit works on my 60-ish parents. They can even recognize it as clickbait when they see it, but they're inexorably drawn to it nonetheless.

Biden did not "win" by some impressive margin, dude. I genuinely think there are practical limits to how far cheating can get you, which is why Youngkin is governor of VA right now, and why the GOP got control of the House of Representatives in 2022. I strongly suspect that getting Kamala across the finish line via fraud simply isn't doable in this election.

If you want to be pessimistic about things, you may want to consider what Kamala's lawyers will try and pull to reverse Trump's coming victory in November.

Given where the polls are at right now, how bad of a candidate Kamala Harris is, and the general whitepilled mood of the Republicans, I'm legitimately concerned about what might happen if Trump actually ends up losing. You will never be able to convince them it wasn't rigged. I've never bought into the civil war shit, and I'm not saying it WILL happen, but there is going to be some real shit that goes down that will make J6 look like a walk in the park if Trump doesn't win.

To the FBI agent assigned to me, I am not advocating for anything, nor do I have inside knowledge of any plots or plans, I'm just making an observation.

Now that everyone believes he's taken more black dick than Reily Reid, what are the odds Biebs offs himself in the near future?
Let’s not be cynical.

As black men familiar with the pain of being raised by a single mother, they probably just saw a 14 year old boy who didn’t have a father, and wanted to step up!

You ever turn on MSNBC and watch them call Trump weak or crazy? I don’t really understand it.

You can’t call a man who gets clipped by a bullet and responds by trying to rally his supporters weak.

The MacDonalds thing isn’t crazy. It’s basic fucking campaigning. Even if Kamala or Joe Scarborough pulled out a record of her working at a MacDonald’s for 2 hours during college, he got the photo op. He for a 30 minutes let some MacDonald’s worker be his boss and show him their daily routine. That is endearing. It’s something ancient tyrants and compassionate kings did.

my brother, I hate to tell you this but TV Tropes has been mentally retarded for over a decade now. They were already going downhill when I was frequenting that site around that time and it's only gotten worse.
And how. No idea if I'm just lucky but the last couple times I went to TV Tropes out of curiosity I was horrified. Show and game pages had clearly been taken over by loons peddling their own fan theories, like one that made repeated references to a character having a mental-deterioration disease (and trying to research a cure for it) that was nowhere in the original. I'd suggest anyone who thinks it a font of wisdom read an article about something you already know well and then decide.

It's like Wikipedia but even spergier.

Honestly, despite how good things look for Trump, I have my doubts that he will actually win.

If the DNC is anything to go by, I wouldn't be surprised if they attempt to do something to ensure that Kamala wins at the last minute, like what happened with Biden.
It would be lmao-worthy if Trump wins the election, but then Biden and Harris refuse to step down and declare the Nasty Gurls arrest him during the inauguration.
