I came across this the other day.
Indian lies and commits fraud about everything for a foreign scholarship to Pennsylvania. Bribes for test scores in India, fakes his father's death in India, fakes all of his grades. Get's a full ride, comes to the USA. Gets bored again and starts cheating on US university exams. Maintains high GPA and doesn't get caught. Gets internships by lying and faking experience.
Now here's the important bit.
He only got caught because he posted an extremely detailed explanation on goddamn reddit. Resulting in a moderator autistically researching him to find out his identity. Said moderator was an Indian, in India, and likely did it out of jealousy of his success.
This just goes to show you how truly fragile Western institutions are in the face of people deliberately scamming them constantly. They simply weren't created with such defenses because we never had any expectation that we would have hordes of people constantly cheating and scamming.
