Two of those were atrocious war crimes that would have been impossible without nuclear power, the other two were unintended accidents. The consequences of all of them are felt to this day. Nuclear power plants have to be carefully tended to for hundreds of years. Populations that live near said plants have higher rates of cancer consistently and across the board. Earthquakes happen. Landslides happen. Tsunamis happen. Wars happen. Mistakes happen. Incompetence happens. Human greed happens.
I do not give a flying fuck about what the media says in this regard, or in any other matter (and despite what anybody here says, the nuclear lobby exists and is a powerful one). I care about common sense. I don't buy the climate change hoax (we're actually decimating the planet to farm teslas and ev's in the name of saving the planet). Nuclear power is a ticking time bomb, and anyone with two braincells to rub together comprehends that. A ticking time bomb.

Everyone can :optimistic: at me but I still believe in humanity (even after lurking here) for not fucking it up too much.
More precisely, I believe in intelligent people who have lifted humanity up since the beginning of History and will continue to do so. We wouldn't have all this sweet sweet technology if we were all stupid after all.

This sweet, sweet technology is (paradoxically, in the age of instant communication) what is making us disconnected from each other, making us the loneliest we've ever been. Sweet, sweet technology in which all sorts of mental illness thrive and prosper.
There are plenty of intelligent and emotionally sound human beings, many of which are lifting humankind, but the society we're living in is by psychopaths for psychopaths. "Not fucking it up too much". I honestly don't know what to say to that. This world is sick.

Doom pill all you want, to believe is the first step towards a bright future.

(Retarded Anti-Nuclear Energy Sperging)

Fun Fact: The average coal plant produces and exposes more harmful radiation to workers, nearby population centers, and the environment than a nuclear power plant could produce under normal operation. All the while being less efficient and more resource-demanding.

Fun Fact: Nuclear waste canisters are designed to survive head-on collisions from freight trains and can be safely stored in the desert as opposed to the aforementioned "fly ash" that is haphazardly spewed into the air.

Fun Fact: Around 460,000 Americans have had their deaths attributed to pollution from coal-fired power plants from 1999 to 2020. The number of deaths that can be confirmed to be related to nuclear energy since the 40s is around 6,200 to 7,000 if we are being generous.

Fun Fact: There are around 526 nuclear reactors that are maintained by the US Navy, all of which have not suffered major catastrophe since 1953 when the first was constructed in Idaho at the Naval Reactors Facility.

Fun Fact: The Japanese deserved the nuclear bombings because they were being little shits and raping Chinese children.

You won't change your mind because midwit mongoloids are the most stubborn people born on this earth but I just wanted to show the good people in this thread how utterly mindless your post is. Now to make up for this info-dump by providing a hefty image tax:
