Short version: You have sex hormone receptors all over your body, and sex hormones affect your body in ways most people cannot even imagine (and ultimately there's a lot about sex hormones even people who research them for a living still don't understand, bodies are complicated). Sex hormones affect bone density (among many, many other things) and messing with them in the estrogenizing direction is often going to give you osteopenia and osteoporosis.

The real bone-density horror is going to come when the boys on puberty blockers grow up and get a bit older. They're going to be shattering hips like old ladies falling in the shower when they're 35. At least the AGPs got to have a nice wank over the idea of sissifying preteen boys, though, so it all evens out.

A friend of a friend is a troon with autism who's main hobby is buying random drugs and research chemicals off the Internet to get high and then writing trip reports about them on PsychonautWiki. He ended up getting free accommodation because he ran to social services with a sob story about getting kicked out of his parents' house for being trans, when I know the actual reason they kicked him out was because they kept finding drugs in his bedroom.
