I believe that the swell in supposed support for troonism we've experienced over the last decade is partially motivated by people viewing it as "new and exotic" and therefore something totally cool and heckin' valid. My shithole country supreme court ruled we can deny healthcare if the medicine is either uncertified here( despite being approved by the FDA or the European equivalent) or too expensive and that the public health system is immune to lawsuits to force them to buy them (think those 2 million dollar a pop meds that cure paralyzed kids) while ruling my state is forced to pay for SRS and hormonal treatment for free.
