The Soys is a complete shitshow of a series. They have been going downhill since season 2, and no one who has any braincells has watched it since season 4.
The writers literally have nothing to offer other than thinly veiled real life politics.
Fun fact: the 1st season was made by a completly different team of writers and directors. That is why it is watchable and interesting, while season 2 goes downhill and abandons interesting points and stories to turn into slop.

I watched the first two seasons in 2020.
I enjoyed the first season enough ... But I thought that the second season was so fucking dumb, and I haven't bothered with the show since. Not even the people who defended season 2 are defending the show now, so it looks like I haven't missed anything.
The whole "It was ... THE NAZIS!" revelation in season 2 was some of the laziest writing I have ever seen. My brain actually broke when that plotline was revealed. And then I remember some dumb bitch Nazi character saying that Pewdiepie was a gateway to becoming a Nazi youth or something? I was stunned at how quickly the writing fell off a cliff from season 1.
Plus, the whole "subversion of superheroes" schtick has become an entire trope in of itself at this point. It's not new, it's not creative ... YAWN.

also, other than baseless Project 2025 fear mongering, any "banning" that red states have done regarding porn is making laws that porn sites are required to verify the age of the person watching porn other than a pop up dialog that you can just click yes on. the porn sites then ban themselves to prevent having any kind of checks in place

I've worked as a polling place worker in Poland during presidential and parliamentary elections. It usually takes about 24 hours to get complete results from the entire country, but most of the voting places are finished within 6 hours. Last election it took us (a team of 10 people) 4 hours to tabulate about 1000 paper ballots by hand (we don't do electronic voting).

The Great McTriggering of 2024 is the most fascinating October surprise to me.
Because it shouldn't be a surprise. As several others have said, that could not be a more basic campaign stunt. Just working a simple task on a relatively common service job. Showing you aren't above a few minutes of putting on the apron and manning a food station. Waving and being nice to people who are out for a cheap (well...) bite. Remember, Jeb Bush did something slightly similar at a Dunkin Donuts in the 2016 election, handing out donuts in the drive-through. Yes, the credits were playing the Johnny Cash cover of Hurt for his campaign by that point, but seriously. Jeb Bush.
Yet it has gotten under the left's collective skin and induced a clearly disproportionate amount of contempt, vituperation, and seethe to the point where I'm not confident that anything else Trump has said or done this campaign has yielded as many megatons of nuclear butthurt. I get the feeling that even Trump's campaign is surprised by how well it worked. (You can almost hear Vance already salivating in that clip when they're about to ask him about it.)
I don't know. People keep waiting for some dramatic final twist before Election Day, but it's going to take a lot to exceed the bewilderment I feel, watching the "rational" party lose their minds over French fries and an apron.

If they already did it once with trans ideology, why cant they do it again for the presidency? When you've been cancelled once, being cancelled again is a cakewalk, so you might as well speak your mind.
I've always said that as a feminist you can't subscribe to either side blindly because at the end of the day Dems and GOP are massively overrepresented by men and do not center women's interests. I think all minority groups need to understand that.

No real big surprise with the "Superman but bad" show and their delusions given the boys comic was the schlockiest schlock that ever schlocked. It was basically peeling the brain flaps back to look into the mind of a seething euro lefty and his bottomless jealousy and hatred of a genre more successful than anything he's ever made by latching onto the belly of it like a suckerfish and I say this as a avid capeshit hater.
It was even more peepeepoopoo rape rape rape and puerile down to the most ham fisted allegory/analogy for crack babies ever. As the black man nicknamed mother's milk was named for his original origin of literally being a compound V "Crack baby" and he needed to be breast fed into his adulthood or some shit. Obviously having a dude's origin story be this fucking brain dead and lacking subtly and tone deaf and showing the cool black dude slugging down his momma's titty milk wouldn't play well with black men so they flip flopped the breast milk drinking part without the crack allegory onto the icky "HE"S TRUMP NOW" evil superman stand in.
The other thing I find hilarious given the climate is that they kept Mr.Ennis's vision of using gay actions and sexual acts as a humiliation ritual and power play. Given just how many of the bad guys in the show are big into making people do gay shit for kicks. This is probably an attempt at projection like "HAW HAW YOU'RE GAY HOW'S THAT MAKE YOU FEEL LIL DONNIE YOU PUNK FUCK?"
But it more comes across as they genuinely know there's a baseline repulsion and humiliation to it and he only has so many shock value tricks in his very shallow hat. Also y'know- His go to writing party trick of "The punchline is rape!" Which I wouldn't give a shit about like some sort of concerned shrinking violet but it's coming from a writer's room full of proggy retards so I am more than happy to throw their own calvinball rulebook back at them and break their proverbial nose with it.
TL;DR: If people weren't expecting this to be hacky garbage from the start they literally had no idea of this dude's track record and the brain poison he's made before. It's also a fucking amazon series for christ's sake.
