Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Wouldn't the Russians be the ones picking up all the bodies as they are advancing and claiming the previous grey zones?
When it's bad news for Kyiv; western media has to go Both Sides:

("My uncle, whom absolutely works at Sega Ukraine", always gets the closing words in no matter how comically deficient their wherewithal.)

Pretty sure Sun Tzu already has something about this. Always leave a way for the enemy to retreat so that they're not compelled to make a last stand. Pretty basic military strategy lol.
Russia may or may not read Sun Tzu, but they have an extremely Taoist mindset towards war.. Russian forces just flee to better lines whenever they knew Ukraine was more committed and actually had committed more armour and big guns to the push.

I cannot recall the last time Ukrainian command was allowed to just pre-emptively nope out of a fire bag since Lisichansk. Meanwhile russia just reads the winds and leaves when they feel they don't have the backing to stand.

Well, you say that, but then you have ukrainians commiting to assaults that have zero chance of succeeding (all the way back to 2015), NATO command not knowing what to do if the enemy doesnt cooperate with their plans, ukrainian pilots being outsmarted by Red Baron tier air tactics, or losing Migs to flying doritos...

Despite popular media, it's been Russia's doctrine for a long time. When you have near infinite land to retreat into, why spend the men and equipment to desperately hold a few miles? You can reclaim land whenever convenient. You can't reclaim experienced soldiers and destroyed equipment.

Kantai Kessen rears its ugly head again.

Ever wondered why the British are so enthusiastic for this war? Did you know that they once (I've no idea if it still exists), in pre-Maidan times when it really should have been more controversial, had a Stepan Bandera museum.

I've no idea of the significance of the manky shirt, nor who the stains belong to.

The fact this museum even exists on British territory is just spitting on the graves of the tens of thousands of men and women who gave their lives fighting Nazism and all it's lackeys and collaborators.

Pretty much everything that has happened in the UK since WW2 spits into these guys' faces. If they knew back then, they would have sacked London.

And for prisoner exchanges both sides don't just release all their POWs. If one side has 100 prisoners and the other 10,000 that'd be a piss poor trade. Russia has accused Ukraine in the past of abducting random citizens in the separatist areas and claiming they were militia to bulk up their trade deals.
One wonders how many of the Ukranian prisoners ask their captors not to exchange them.

Maybe ordinary soldiers are spinning in their coffins thinking that they fought Nazism, but the MI6 and CIA recruited Bandera and co. without any moral dilemmas, amnestied them, hid them from the USSR, and made them into anti-communist saboteurs and soft power organizations.

Thus Jaroslav Stetsko and Stepan Bandera were the founders of the MI6-sponsored Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations.

And there have been dozens, if not hundreds, of such organisations sponsored by three-letter agencies, and they appear to have borne fruit

The infamous Ukrainian SS soldier Yaroslav Hunka wrote in his memoirs how he and his comrades deliberately sought out the British to surrender and got off with only a slap on the wrist, and half a century later he is applauded for his work.

saw a video today of one being asked if he wants to be exchanged and asking can he stay in Russia because if he gets exchanged he will be sent to the front line again
Do you have a link to that at all / willing to upload?

I watched the Weeb Union one a few hours before, he tends to be a little more concise. He's also started flashing up a mini-map in the corner so you can see where the zoomed in map is in the wider scheme. He said that Russia is currently capturing Eastern Seleydove and there's a rumour going round that Kiev is actually pulling out of there and falling back. Russia has very nearly cut two of the three main supply roads for the city and seem to be doing their "leave an exit open" tactic.

This is the same city that's home to Britain's largest number of Muslims and, ergo, Muslim militants, despite the Brits being the first ones to back us up and provide a lot of key support (including intel and Special Forces) against said militancy post 9/11.

Putin does not deny presence of North Korean troops in Russia
When asked about satellite images distributed by the South Korean intelligence agency purporting to show North Korean troops traveling to Russia, Putin responded that “images are a serious thing; if there are images, they reflect something,” while neither confirming or denying the accusation, which has also been made by the United States.

This is, allegedly, proof of "North Korean troops seen on a parade ground in Ussuriysk*, 60 miles north of Vladivostok, according to South Korea's government. Picture: South Korea's National Intelligence Service":

Circle every Chinaman you see and you can win a prize.

*EDIT: 5,835.0 miles from Ukraine. :story:

North Korean slaves with Russian passports. How gullible are boomers that they still fall for this kind of low effort bait?

Also, post the actual video next time. He says "if" there are photos. He called out the lie there are satellite photos, saying if there are photos, publish them or STFU.

I doubt Kim send soldiers but so what if he did? Poland, Germany, France and even the US sent soldiers. You think the oopsie-rators at SOCOM would pass up the chance to travel to CIA bases in the Ukraine? Give me a break; stop swooning and get your affairs in order because WW3 is on the table in a very real way now.

I assume most of these North Koreans are not actually footsoldiers, but officers and technicians assigned to observation and training (though some may end up dead by slavic crossfire because this is a war after all). Then again the treaty signed between Russia and North Korea promises mutual defense. Now if the stories' true then this makes the Norks a more reliable ally than the entire CSTO.
Yeah. Pics or it didn't happe
Cameras are abundant on the battlefields these days. We already know what the insides of both Russians and Ukrainians look like. Hopefully we'll find out one way or the other soon enough.
