I can't find it offhand, but yeah, this is how the election rules set forth in the constitution or US code or what have you are specifically written, explicitly to prevent the DNC from performing Unlimited Ballot Printer Works when they're losing. Of course, the same thing states the Judiciary has no say in election rules and that it's the legislature that does, but baby steps and all that.

The real fun thing is if some other Circuit has found the opposite, then it automatically goes to SCOTUS and hopefully the conservative majority permanently ends this shit nation-wide.

I am hoping and praying some uber liberal court rules the opposite. SCOTUS would have to decide it, and put their names behind that decision on mail in voting and end the bullshit one way or another. Let it happen, chaos theory baby.

Machine guns are incredibly cumbersome weapons and very unlikely to be used in any kind of crime.

That depends on the caliber. Certain squad automatic weapons could probably serve uses in some crimes, even if the roles are rather limited (e.g. gang warfare, maybe firing from a getaway car or in mass shootings in more open spaces).

I agree with your general point though. But I’d also note it was more than just a springboard to seem reasonable, taking away machine guns serves a very handy purpose in disarming the people so they can’t fight back as easily against any tyrants.

The Harris campaign is acting like they're down 3 points. She's not pounding the swing states like she would if she thought she had a chance of winning the election. She fucking around in Texas when she supposedly is tied in Pennsylvania, for example.

Of course, the other option is that Harris believes the Democrats can steal enough votes that campaigning doesn't matter at this point. But she'd still be campaigning to make the win look legitimate if that were the case.

Normally I don't voote since I am pragmatic and know that my 1 singular voote isn't doing jack shit where I live but I felt inclined too after he got shot. In line I knew it was really a waste of time since it's one vote but it honestly was more of a spite vote since I have so much utter disdain for the assailant. I know he is dead but if Trump wins ( I still have my doubts) I wish he would have been alive to see it.

Also I would say that about 70% of the people voting were women, and the average age was probably like 68, but it's early voting so that tracks.

In my strong opinion I believe the whole "one vote" thing is a psyop, especially since 1 vote can actually make a difference with local elections.

I'd strongly suggest giving Spunt's thread a lookover when it comes to Ireland and Britain. The shit the British did to the Irish was horrific. However in turn a lot of what the IRA did not just to the British but also to the Irish tends to get glossed over in America because a lot of their funding came from the Americans. Up until funding terrorism became less socially acceptable in 2001.

When you say that the Irish are entitled to genocide the British as payback you are condoning every last child the IRA murdered. And they murdered a lot, some of them less than a mile from where I am now. Presumably your undergrad course covered that.
