You're damn right I'm biased against Kabrutus. He's charging 200 dollars to "investigate" if a game is DEI or not.
This works a few ways including a company paying him to investigate them and then say they're DEI free which is advertising although I'm not sure its worth 200 dollars - it could reach 500k people on steam that its a recommended DEI Free game.

There's a fuckton of other Youtubers and content creators that do what Kabrutus is doing for free without a paywall because they love gaming and want to see it bounce back. Gaming is a hobby. A very expensive fucking hobby right now. While I don't initially fault him for trying to make his buck, I do often question his integrity over it. I don't necessarily think he's a grifter (due to the aforementioned dogpiling and attempts to "cancel" him were actually real), but I don't necessarily like how he's presenting himself and offering shit behind a pay wall. Dude's getting too full of himself and huffing off of his own supply. I don't expect him to last very long in the space, and honestly, the dick sucking going on in this thread over him is kind of tiring. He doesn't say anything when he's invited onto podcasts. When he does, he says shit that we've all been saying for the last decade or so. He's preaching to the choir, so I've just gotten to ignore him. I felt for the guy in the beginning because he didn't need that flak, but now his 15 minutes are up and he's desperately trying to stay relevant. It's only a matter of time before he's compromised.

I think people are making it a bigger deal than what it is, the GG gals gave talks to the UN and charged 6 figure sums for their bullshit, I can understand why he'd do the same for his. This. No one is forcing anyone. No one is screaming at us to pay up with every post (which tells me I am right about the fact that he might be chasing away the annoying ones). For me personally, I find it much more helpful browsing threads like this and actually talking to other users directly, but for normies who just want a quick reference guide I can see these groups being useful (although let's be honest you don't need an independent audit to see games like Dustborn and Unknown 9 for exactly what they are).

This is why I have multiple, and consider them. I think teardown was also recommended against by one of the things, I follow, but I love that game. Still, I'd rather hear a false report than no report.

And I think portal was tolerable in that aspect BECAUSE there was only really 2 males. If you had like 20, that grievance would totally make sense. At some point it switches from "these couple of guys are morons" to "all the men in this games universe are morons". But its not from 2

Some of the listings are just pure 'tism. I think it also may be that some of these people just want in on the action and have to find a game to declare as woke so it sets them apart from the pack. There's only so much Dustborn and AssCreed Shadows content anyone can watch.

The only negativity I've seen about Portal 2 in the past was that some people thought it was trying to hard to be funny. I personally loved the humor though.

I'd rather have people do proper teardowns of Dustborn level games. I also want to know how trannified games are. I remember seeing art for One Night, Hot Springs and thought it was so cute. But it's about a troon at the hot springs. I think Haru's friends are actual women though. Everything is cute and chibi. Disappoint.
