East Coast Boomers think Bruce Springsteen is a literal God, "THE BOSS." I'll never understand it, to me he's in the same tier as Bon Jovi. Regardless of what you think of Bruce we can all agree he needs his East Street Band.

A bit off topic, but "East Coast Boomer" is the perfect descriptor for my uncle. He had a literal shrine to Bruce Springsteen in his house. It was an entire room full of memorabilia he would retreat to in order ot bask in the glory of the The Boss.

We haven't talked in years (not out of disdain), but I wonder if when he saw this he wept. Were they tears of joy or pain in recognizing that one's living god was wrapped in flesh as weak and mortal as our own.

I could've swore we had a lolcow thread for him at one point, it was either that or a very detailed autismpost by another member about him. Trump is one of the most historic presidents in American history but honestly I don't want Rushmore changed at all, those men that are on it are there because they forged America's growth into what we were when we were great.
