Even completely unfinished the Crazy Horse monument blows Mt Rushmore out of the water in terms of scale and coolness. Mt Rushmore is a genuine disappointment in real life.
B-b-b-but Crazy Horse was a heckin' insurrectionist!!!1

They should also have monuments to Quanah Parker.

Norm was the best stand up of all time. I judge people based on whether they like him or not. My wife really liked the show In The Middle and I was completely disinterested in it until she told me that Norm was in it. He played a sketchy alcoholic uncle and nailed it.

Norm's passing is one of the VERY few celebrity deaths that genuinely upset me. Fuck, I'm still upset over it.

The Middle was underrated as hell! It was a good show. Similar to Malcolm in the Middle, but also not a copycat. I think that the show did a great job casting the kids in particular.

Eden Sher rules. I ended up liking the whole show.

The Crazy Horse monument is a multi-generational family project for the relatives of the Polish-American sculptor that started it. They also apparently refuse to accept federal or state funding. Mount Rushmore itself isn't truly done if you go by the original vision, but at least it is in generally a complete state.

Mitch comes out and does his best to stick a knife in Trumps back days before the election

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/4950971-mcconnell-criticizes-trump-maga-gop/

Outgoing Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) said former President Trump has hurt the Republican Party’s ability to compete and that the “MAGA movement is completely wrong.”

“I think Trump was the biggest factor in changing the Republican Party from what Ronald Reagan viewed and he wouldn’t recognize today,” McConnell said, according to a new biography penned by Michael Tackett of The Associated Press.

These excerpts were first reported Thursday by CNN.

McConnell said Trump has “done a lot of damage to our party’s image and our ability to compete.”

“Trump is appealing to people who haven’t been as successful as other people and providing an excuse for that, that these more successful people have somehow … cheated and you don’t deserve to think of yourself as less successful because things haven’t been fair,” McConnell said.

Add to that Mitch refused to allow his Super-PAC to donate money to Ted Cruz's campaign in Texas where the DNC is blowing huge amounts of cash on the attempt to flip the state.

So much for Cocaine Mitch McConnell, turns out he was just a swamp creature after all.

Fixing elections is unironically one of my top three most important issues at this point. The mail in ballot lunacy has to stop, the early voting starting a month before election day has to stop, the ballot harvesting madness has to stop, and the not requiring ID bullshit has to stop.

I'm a huge proponent of state's rights but the way some of the states conduct themselves during federal elections is fucking insanity.

Voter ID required in all states, if I require ID to drive and buy booze, it should be required to vote
Election Day made into a federal holiday
Paper ballots
Make it illegal to count ballots past Election Day, none of this "OMG it'll take us 3 weeks to fully count ballots" bullshit.

Every election cycle, Epic Rap Battles of History create a rap for it, and they've finally put out this cycle's 30 minutes ago.

For reference, these are always some of their most popular videos and probably unironically how millions of normies consume election material.

It doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of life but an interesting thing about the ERB president battles, whoever they put on the left side of the thumbnail has won the election. Trump is left of Hillary, Biden is left of Trump, and Obama is left of Romney. Now Trump's to the left of Kamala.

There’s so much space it’s easily doable, with all the shit he’s been through he deserves to be enshrined into a national monument. I’ve been to Rushmore and every time it’s just cold and rainy, the only thing more interesting than the heads themselves is the museum.

We need to build a great big smiling mug with a fully functional McDonald’s inside Donald Trump’s nose like in the movie Richie Rich with Macaulay Culkin, there should be a great big golden mall escalator with a great big golden entryway that has an animatronic Trump figure saying “down the nose and to the left.”
Barron's platform 2064: we will build Trumpdonalds and make Burger King pay for it

Google that particular course.
I know what it is and don't care. I've seen enough bullshit awards and credentials handed out to worthless pos in the military as well as certain individuals being exempt from "requirements". All that bullshit is a joke.

And this thing is an admiral Rachel_Levine (https://archive.is/2140T)

I know is not accurate but....

So what is the Democrats' solution over the problem of having too many celebrities stump for them, why have more B-list celebrities stump for them.

Celebrity endorsements are so meaningless, I cant think of a single "celeb" whos political endorsement would affect me one way or another. I also feel like the era of celebrity culture where people really had celebs on a pedestal is done, its not the 90s anymore, the internet has helped demystify the concept of the "celebrity".

Zachary Levi endorsing Trump was just kind of embarrassing for him, I would be extremely surprised if it led to more people voting for Trump, and the same for all the celebs endorsing Kamala I genuinely don't think it helps at all. It's completely meaningless.

And you're leaving out charging and transmission losses from the EV. The MPGe calculation is actually a fairly good measure of how much gasoline equivalent energy is used to run the vehicle, but there's a critical thing you have to do for it. The last step in the calculation is to divide by 0.15 to account for the "social good of electric vehicles", so just multiply by that to get rid of the propaganda and you've got a pretty good apples to apples comparison of the energy usage.
Then you have to account for where the energy comes from, if you've got a coal or gas plant, it's pretty obviously worse to run the electric car.

All this arguing over how to figure EV energy consumption is actually horseshit because Say's Law, which says supply creates its own demand, applies to energy. Electric cars have zero effect on global petroleum demand. The number of gallons of oil that do not get burned as a result of EV mandates is

o.

Look at Norway. It's one of the heaviest EV-using countries in Europe. Did it cut its oil production? No, it actually is seeking to increase its oil production. That oil is just shipped elsewhere to be burned, because oil is always useful to someone, somewhere. The climate doesn't care if you moved the oil over the border before you burned it.

This is beautiful.
You have a gift.
J.D Vance is the man with the true gift.

I’ll bet you that Ocazio-Cortez woman has her aides tie her down with ropes every time Vance for some reason visits the House, so she doesn’t get swept away on the winds of passion.

Democrats will be very disappointed when they tabulate the results and see how many women voted for Trump this election.

But it’s nothing to what will happen in 28 with Vance on the ticket.

12 years of GOP rule bros, I can just feel it!
