It is weird but there is an entire genre of people who use LinkedIn like a personal social media site and while hilarious, it's very frustrating to wade through when I'm trying to use the platform as intended.

Related to this whole Linkedin conversation, the only babies (or similar life updates) I see posted by "normal" people versus lolcows is either something like new moms showing the baby like they would to the office normally or during COVID when people literally had no idea what they should be doing while working from home which mostly stopped when they went back to the office. Weddings are common but like, people invited their coworkers to those before social media so I consider that pretty normal too.

I found this funny, because I clearly remember when this happened.
