Most people at the peak of mental acuity could not have come up with those zingers at that moment with the audience they had. Also, used Harris' catchphrase against her during the Trump-Harris debate.

Just so you guys know, this guy's "Clarissa" comic is about the title character, a young girl, being sexually abused by her father. You can clearly see the pedo dad character in that comic being in favor of the Trump caricature. The subtext being right wing Americans are repulsive to him. He's also used that Clarissa character in another comic to make some social commentary about mass shootings in schools.

Plus Lee was a great general. Even aside from what he did for peace. There’s a reason why he has been admired for decades and talked about by military historians.

The US lost in Vietnam to a bunch of farmers with AK’s. They lost in Afghanistan to a bunch of farmers with AK’s.

And that's with the US soldiers living in reenforced military compounds, with their families safely back home in the USA.

Its a whole different animal when you have to worry about your family while getting ready for work in the morning. Civil wars are horrifying for a reason.

It's stupid simple to place a child for adoption in this country. You literally sign some paperwork at the hospital then walk away. We also have those laws that protect just handing a newborn baby over at a fire station or hospital. Done.

She can't commit to pulling support for Israel because it will cost her too much of the jew vote, so she loses the hard pro-Palestine portion of the Arab demographic that tends to be younger. On the other hand, there's also a group of Arabs see Palestine as kind of the lower class of the middle East and don't give much of a shit what happens to them, even if they don't love Israel either. That leaves those older, more traditional Muslims leaning more towards Trump (or not voting at all) as they are typically more Conservative in their beliefs. They don't want to back a pro-tranny candidate and they also tend to be tough on crime. There's also probably a portion that realize Trump doesn't want a war in the middle East but Kamala is so incompetent that it may very well end up happening.

If the above is true, she's probably sunk in Michigan.

Best case scenario you have something like North Ireland where the Brits kept nominal control, but couldn’t leave their bases at night without getting shot at.

And that’s even without considering all the hardware of the national guards.

Well. Americans have not dealt with actual war in the US since the Civil War, and incidents in Hawaii/Alaska during WW2 were far removed from the mainland (they weren't even states at the time) and terrorism in the 60s/70s was almost always in large urban cities or a few college campuses. Most of us have not had to contend with the fear of going to work in the morning, wondering if we'd get caught in a firefight or explosion. There was a time in NYC when the fear of taking the subway/trains was high after 9-11 but that's it, and that was over two decades ago.

Lee has always, and I mean always, been hated by the Northern elites. They have an irrational disdain for Southerners. I personally don't understand it but if you spend time driving along I-40/I-10, the two interstates that traverse the South, you can tell that a devastating war happened there from little things people refer to or the large number of battle sites, which isn't the case in the North at all. Trump doesn't have that baggage and it's refreshing to hear him talk about Lee the way he does.
