It's difficult for non-industry insiders to get accurate figures on book sales. BookScan is probably the best resource, but you usually have to be affiliated with a publisher in order to have a login, and if I recall correctly, it only tallies print sales.

Between both platforms, the second book has between a quarter and a fifth of the engagement of the first book, and the third has about a fifth of the engagement of the second. I can't see the same publisher wanting to gamble on a fourth.
The more I researched Lindsay last week, the more I came to agree with the theory proposed on this thread a few years ago, arguing that her "cancelation" was merely a calculated attempt by Lindsay to manipulate her simp-cuck soyboy fanbase to purchase her flogging second book. To add to said theory, I believe it was also a desperate attempt to use all-powerful "white woman tears" to cover-up/mitigate legitimate criticism she receiving on Twitter from POC (criticism that started being lodged
before her Raya critique cancelation).
In particular, Twitter criticism resulting from a prominent Native American activist/writer finally calling out Lindsay for the time Lindsay wholesale plagiarized her article to make a monetized video (Lindsay made the monetized video a few months after said Native American woman's article was published in a major newspaper - so Lindsay's video was extra sus), than Lindsay cyberbullied said writter when she made the sin of asking Lindsay for proper academic credit at the end of her video. Lindsay's plagiarization of a Native American woman's work wasn't taken too well by Twitter Leftist Breadtube fans, presumably because a rich white woman stealing content from marginalized Native American writer is quite the transgression on the "lefty victim" ranking chart.
Also, around the exact same time the antisemitisms in Lindsay's book started to make their way around Twitter (quite a few of the "Diet Nazis" she doxxed in her "mask off" video were Jewish people. Hm...) In particular, Lindsay got into it with a Jewish Axiom's End reader who asked Lindsay why she purposely wrote a prominent Jewish character in her series (Sol) as an evil abusive rape-y asshole with nebulous deepstate/CIA/Mossad connections. Lindsay was all "how dare you! I wasn't being antisemitic. Jewish men can be jerks too! I had sensitivity readers. You're probably just another gamergate diet-nazi". (Sadly this interaction was half-lost when Lindsay deleted Twitter). Lindsay's interaction led to other Jewish Breadtube twitter users being like "hey, wait, remember that one time Lindsay implied Jews celebrate Moses slaughtering babies at Passover or whatever? It kinda just seems like Lindsay hates Jews".
I’m going for Hanlon’s Razor personally. All this talk of conspiracy seems more like Lindsay trying to say something about the world but is fumbling the message and trying to show that she knows more about the world than what she really does.
While Hanlon's razor absolutely would make sense, considering Lindsay is dumb as fucking rocks - I just can't help have a nagging feeling there's more to Lindsay's problematic hot takes/all the seemingly racist & antisemitic plot points in her book series. Surely she learned such rhetoric from
somewhere.
For example, the only people who've I've ever interacted with that openly questioned the official number of Jewish Holocaust victims while simultaneously implying Israel was using the memory of the Holocaust to emotionally manipulate Western powers into supporting Zionism & allowing Israel to slaughter innocent Muslims in the Middle East in a quest to colonize the entire region....were, well, White Supremacist Neo Nazis (tankies hate Israel, but they generally aren't Holocaust truthers). Also, the only people I ever interacted with who openly argued "Native Americans were vicious savages that benefited from European colonization" (an argument made in the Axiom's End trilogy) were....White Supremacist Neo Nazis.
Look, I'm not saying Lindsay has been a secret ghost-skin her entire career working behind enemy lines to empower the white race (that's ridiculous. A real White Supremacist Neo Nazi would have ended up in the loony bin if they had to spend a significant amount of time pretending to be friends with stupid tankie breadtubers
oh wait...) - it's just Lindsay deserves a serious side eye when compared to her fellow dumb af Nebula Breadtube tankies.
Or, to use an example currently playing out on Twitch. Is
Hasan's pet gremlin overfed after midnight Hasan orbiter Fr0gan dumb? Yes - she's unequivocally the dumbest streamer that ever streamed on Twitch - & I'm pretty sure Sneako once stated he thought the Earth could be flat & surrounded by an ice ring that holds in all the ocean water. But does Hanlon's Razor explain why Fr0gan lists Jewish creators as "Sabra Lovers"? No. Fr0gan is both dumb & a virulent antisemite.
Probably the most useful metric available to industry outsiders would be the number of ratings the books have received on platforms such as Amazon and Goodreads, and the drop off from books #1 to #2 to #3 is very stark indeed:
On the topic of Lindsay's Goodreads reviews: one of her reviewers completely misinterpreted all the 1488-style antisemitic dogwhistles in book #2, & actually assumed Cora's Muslim Iranian spy fuckbuddy who stole classified C.I.A. documents to save suspected Al Queda terrorists from being waterboarded by "advanced interrogation specialists" in Guatonamo Bay (i.e. Cora's Muslim boyfriend who constantly mansplains to the audience about the Zionists
babyeating Jewish reptoids secretly puppeteering major world governments & shitstirring world conflicts, in case readers are too naive and/or dense to pick up on the obvious 1488-style dogwhistles)...was a Jew

. Said reader was pissed the characters kept going of on random tangents about Jews (along with being pissed about the whole "Ampersand is a trans-man so no PIV sex with psychic space chicken boyfriend since he has no dick") and left this scathing review:
...I can see why the Persian Muslim sensitivity reader (whose critique Lindsay bragged about ignoring) had a problem with Truth of the Divine. The only thing Truth of the Divine's deuteragonist Muslim character does in said book is commit a high crime against the United States government (i.e. stealing & releasing classified C.I.A. National Security documents) actively petitioned the American mainstream media to support suspected Al Queda terrorists imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay because "poor brown men being waterboarded", had poorly-written unsafe sex with an insufferable BPD-afflicted danger-haired white chick, 'sperged antisemitic rhetoric every other sentence, & finally got his brains blown out by
Reptoid Jew-controlled Neo Nazis.
The idea that an American Muslim refugee from a war torn Middle Eastern country who came to the United States as a small child is a traitor ticking time-bomb that willingly sides with/sympathizes with radical Islamic terrorists that wish to harm American citizens is
based generally considered Islamophobic. To be honest, I'm a bit shocked Lindsay didn't get herself in trouble with the Muslim-ADL equivalent organization CAIR. Especially considering Lindsay bragged about ignoring the input of a Muslim sensitivity reader - so it's not like Lindsay can go "oopsies, I didn't know making my Muslim character sympathize with Al Qaeda & inexplicably do literal treason would hurt sand ni....Muslim people's feelings."
