Destiny is by no means above this stupid shit but this was a pretty good meme. In a way it shows how political livestreamers are a joke, and no matter how carefully they toe the line, they're either way too passionate or too stupid to realize that eventually the hammer of censorship will soon crash down their door. The moment this stuff starts to get even remotely controversial to advertisers and the like, the grift will change quickly.
Also I instinctively clicked 'twitch streamer' on any comment mentioning FrOm RiVeR tO ThE sEa. It's like many of these people only realized Palestine was a country in 2023.
Say what you will about the guy (I heard he was a terrorist) but at least good ol' Mr. Laden actually got to his points without whiny and longwinded twitter rants. His most famous manifesto was only about 4 pages long. The average twitch streamer probably sends more in the form of tweets daily.

Twitch losing 70% of their subscribers is just proof that most streamers are not even faking the idea that Amazon will protect them. The situation regarding how they treated Asmongold, even after apologizing for his statements, is just showing that their "protected streamers" are just not as relevant as they used to be 3 to 4 years ago.
All it will turn into is just a cesspool of e-celebs that are just pandering for Hollywood, even when that industry is barely surviving with a mediocre box office year after year in the modern era.

Is there any evidence of advertisers fleeing Twitch other than “trust me, bro” YouTubers who hate Twitch? I’ve seen absolutely zero evidence of this.
I know a couple of streamers and advertising is a tiny part of their revenue, so little that they would be happy if it just disappears. It would be devastating to Twitch as a company though.
Twitch is a retarded company who favours absolute spastics but it’s worth remembering that big YouTubers hate Twitch because it has a lower revenue split than YouTube and they don’t get the special treatment the Breadtubers get and for no other real reason.
