I mean he did make multiple jokes that the crowd didn't respond to.

1) Hispanics love making babies, there's no pulling out, they come inside just like they did to this country (audience didn't seem amused)
2) There's a floating island of garbage in the ocean right now, I think it's called Puerto Rico (audience seems upset)
3) (mentions a black guy in the audience) I'm just kidding that's my friend, we went to a Halloween party last night. We carved watermelons together. (audience didn't seem to appreciate this one either)

He even stated a few times it was a "groaning" crowd and how he usually doesn't come after the national anthem. The crowd responded better to the P. Diddy jokes and Clinton jokes.

Overall could have been better. Trumps whole thing right now is unity, so it might have gone better if it had been aimed squarely on the "them" of illegal immigrants, not the "them" of Hispanics more generally.

Could be wrong but that was my impression.

"Some are saying" also shifts the responsibility off of the speaker. Handy for people who want to float retarded ideas and absurd assertions without being held accountable, a favorite maneuver of leftists. These people know they're being stupid and delusional but they're hoping for the comfort of agreement.

Any time a comedian peppers in "this is crazy" or "this is wild," it usually means they're bombing. Either way, I thought the set was funny, and he's right when he said that a political rally is a pretty shit crowd for edgy comedy.
