If nothing crazy happens in the week before election day I would say 9000 on the dot. But given how much of a shitshow this election is I expect an insane death spasm of desperation from Kamala and MSM this week which would put us in the 9300s before election day.

fucking lost, the man pauses for a whole two seconds before answering. That's the funniest shit I've seen all day.

Also, any time ANY amount of money gets floated as "too large" with regard to govt. expenditures, I have a small aneurism thinking about the fucking billions we send to Israel so they can keep shooting down $500 RPG warheads with $20k iron dome missiles. Or of the billions we spend having to babysit European NATO members. like no shit, it's going to cost money, but how people don't go postal every time one of those bipartisan foreign aid bills gets passed never ceases to astound me

took 4 days, thurs to sun, to go 200 pages from 8600 to 8800.
assuming no insane things happening this week, which is somewhat doubtful since its the last week,
estimating ~50 pages a day would put us at about 9200-9300 by midday Tuesday, November 5th at the bare minimum unless it's an extremely slow news week.

Something like 2-6 Democratic reps are going to switch party affiliation after Trump's win is official. That's going to make it a lot tougher for the Democrats to obtain House control. Possibly for a long time.

These reps have already been talking to Speaker Johnson's office because they don't want to lose seniority or committee assignments just because they've decided to #walkaway. Johnson has communicated this to Trump, so that's their "little secret."

Those reps are getting DNC money spent on them through the election, only to become turncoats afterward. If Harris wins, they'll chicken out and act like they were never serious, and that's all part of the game, too. If Trump wins, they kiss the ring.

While this sounds likely as I've seen tons of local party swaps, how do you know?

I randomly checked and July 14 started at page 4927 and ended on page 5104, or 177 pages in a single day. We can expect the speed of this thread to go up closer to election day. 9,500 minimum by evening on election day, possibly 10,000 by the time all the votes are counted.

He also intends to do rallies in Virginia and New Mexico, though the former is visibly within the realm of possibility and the latter is showing some cracks(some too-close-for-comfort polling and DNC redirecting ad buys there). Even if none of these states were winnable and even absent the mind games, it makes sense to campaign in blue states to bolster house races, given that retaining the house ironically looks to be the GOP's biggest challenge this cycle.
