Biden's so happy because he was presented a perfect way to shove the knife into Harris's campaign. After that he made sure she couldn't escape being his VP like she desperately wanted to.

same, apparently 25% of possible votes have already been cast. no way in hell will the vote printers be able to figure out how to make sure its under 100% everywhere. And that's not counting how insane that would look for this election to have 90% turnout. 65% in 2020 was absurd too, but not too outside the realm of believable. turnout is usually about 60% so a 10%-20% boost in votes isn't too out of the question. but if this is an 80% turnout election its hard to not call bullshit.

This is some kind of fantasy Harry Potter stylized font that does not look like Fraktur. Hard to tell from the little jpeg pixel mess, but I would guess it’s based on old English letters. Look at the uneven legs of the m, the missing lower serif on the r, the flourishes on all the letters but especially the capitals. Where is the debooooonkers?

It actually looks very close to the New York Times masthead font. Just slightly embellished to look drippy. Probably some royalty free font on Font Squirrel similar to Chomsky.

I don’t think that spending the last week of a campaign manufacturing outrage over a comedian’s joke is the sign of a winning campaign. I know I can be wrong, but this is the kind of shit that has made such a large amount of people turn on the media and democrats in general. People are just sick of it.

Apparently they are trotting out Bad Bunny to endorse her because he’s Puerto Rican. If they are slumming for a narrow group of voters that 1. Are Puerto Rican 2. Are offended by a dumb joke and 3. Are willing to change their vote because a retarded rapper “endorsed” her - they may pick up 25 votes in total.

Seems pretty desperate.

Well, I'm sure he was smart enough to turn down the request (if one was made by Harris, but I suspect he was vetoed on the strong possibility that Team Harris didn't want someone who looked so much better than her as a running mate to remind people they didn't have a choice). He probably didn't want to be tarnished by losing to Trump since it was still a possibility.

This shit is why every little snit about fascism has always come across as crocodile tears to me. The party as a whole would rather let Kamala sink rather than throw a bench of many qualified candidates at Trump. You'd think if fascism was really a problem, the Dems would have gotten off their lazy asses to put many "best and brightest" members on display to show how many people are willing to fight the fash.

The only people who truly believe that Trump is a fascist are the people who left the country or tried to assassinate him. Everyone else? They'll throw the word around, but they won't ever act as if their lives are in danger.

After the votes are counted and the administration announces 90% turnout rate with 76% participants voting for coconut joy in every swing state, the media will point at this and say that people were SO outraged at the mistreatment of Puerto Ricans by Hitler they rose up in unprecedented numbers to serve justice. I exaggerate, but many of Camala's campaign efforts appear to be aimed not so much at actually swaying voters as to creating plausible deniability for ballot-stuffing to the extreme.
