2016 taught us before that polls don't matter.
Both still matter. 2020 was anomalous because lockdowns and mail-in made it much easier to get out votes in the face of an enthusiasm gap. Now people have their normal lives to go about and mail-in is way down in all the swing states. Enthusiasm is critical when determining in-person voting. Sitting in lines for hours at a time takes enthusiasm. If you can't be bothered to even send a ballot in by mail how likely is it that you go through the trouble of in person voting? Given how readily blue constituencies adopted VBM it seems far less likely that they're suddenly all planning to storm the polls in person on election day.
Am I really supposed to believe a statistically significant number of Trump voters enter the booth and vote for a democratic senator? That doesn’t make any sense.

I fear swing states will actually go for Harris. This is even before any election fuckery in Philadelphia.
Alternatively, Trump will carry these candidates over the finish line. The candidates in '22 did not generate much enthusiasm because the GOP still didn't know how to rally the troops without Trump at the top of the ballot. I'm far more inclined to see Trump raising them up than them weighting Trump down.

Am I cooking, chat?
You are. New Hampshire is full of rapefugees from Massachusetts and even New York, and based old white dudes are dying off.
Polls aren't binary. If they historically give a 6 point Dem lean and the Dem only wins by one point or loses even, that's a 5 to 7 point margin of error. That's terrible. And it's always in the same direction.
The specifics don't matter if the poll is still correct. If I tell you 1+1 = 2 and I failed to properly cite the axiomatic proof of it, that doesn't change the fact that 1+1 = 2.
We have never seen (at least not in my lifetime) "republican" candidates speak directly and clearly about Christ, do unscripted conversations on broadcasts with millions of listeners, where they speak like a real likeable and cool human beings, dont worship the military and for the first time ever seem to win at the popular culture game. All of this is unprecedented.
What Republican Party is this? The Republican Party I knew is the party that shot their credibility with everyone who wasn't a Christcuck when they spent the Bush years saying the world was 6,000 years old, blamed everything from fags to Pokemon on Satan controlling America (but strangely never did anything about it!), and claimed Bush was anointed by the Lord for the purpose of preparing his second coming in Israel.

Both still matter.
Polls worked in a time where your neighbor didn't typically have wildly different political opinions than you because you had to regularly interact and actually engage with your locals aka communities actually fucking existed. They rely on a cultural landscape that hasn't existed for nearly longer than this website has been around.
Idk. I'm unconvinced after 2016 and I will remain as such because I don't make a habit of touching hot stoves twice.

Also because the point of publicly available polls is and always will be to influence public opinion/perception.
Given how readily blue constituencies adopted VBM
Nigger are you serious.

Hrm. I've always heard Filipinos were the Mexicans of Asia, but this all could get convoluted real fast.

Many Filipinos pretty much literally are since many are Spanish-mixed because the Philippines used to be under Spanish rule like Mexico for 300+ years. (And under American rule for 50 years too, after the Spanish-American War.) It's why loads of Filipinos have Spanish surnames and Spanish or other European first names and why there are a lot of Eurasian-looking ones, because they are. (Many are also mixed with Chinese as there was a lot of Chinese immigration to the Philippines throughout the centuries.)

You know how the youth vote swung big for Biden in 2020?

Interesting point I heard from a friend: He said his mom sent in his ballot and Ive heard from others that they don't remember voting in 2020. Could just be fog of covid thing but that would explain the huge turnout. Soft fraud in families increased turnout in 2020 vs now where zoomers have to stand in line for the polls to vote. It becomes much easier to from them to just study for a test or go out with friends and skip voting all together. No enthusiasm for Harris.

I like this kind of post. My question is how do you account for all the remote Massholes living in NH now post-COVID?
NH is fucked because we allow college kids to vote, like just being here attending Dartmouth or UNH is enough residency.

So there’s this weird shit where the state legislature is red, Sununu outperformed Trump by 30 points.. we just always end up sending blue senators and voting that way in presidential elections.

If you lived here, you’d think we were Texas

few days ago he said in an interview that it was Yawgmoth's Bargain.
A man after my own millennial heart for sure.

As an aside, I don’t think the joke about Puerto Rico matters, at all. No, the votes haven’t been tallied yet, but at this point you’d have to be insane to not feel confident and start pushing boundaries a little. It’s an open fuck you to everyone who can’t handle the slightest joke, the tiniest provocation, and says they’re not going to worry about those kinds of optics anymore. The election’s a week away. The decision is out of their hands, and now it’s in ours. I love it. I just pray they’re not getting too cocky too early.

Oughta rename it Nimby Hampshire by the sounds of it.

The Trump "stunts" are all with local people and to do with something that happens naturally, every Kamala "stunt" is something that has required a lot of money to do. Trump goes to a McDonald's, Kamala spends money making a Fortnite map while paying youtubers and streamers to play on it. Such a shitty manufactured campaign.

You want to piss a liberal off that goes on about 18 is too young to own a gun since they're children just say 18 is also too young to vote or be in the draft. They'll ghost you because they can't answer that honestly.

To be fair, it is getting lambasted to hell and back in the comment section. I'm pretty sure it's also getting thumbs downed to oblivion.

It bears the question: What where they thinking!?
I remember the Biden campaign doing something similar back then.

Also lol that the gun control party uses a game where you kill people with guns for a promotion.

The religious right wingers who used to tell me I was going to Extra Hell for liking cock on top of liking videogames and rock music have more intellectual honesty than these soyentists.
Well, boss, being true to one's self and sticking to beliefs via conviction is a very religious thing. The people who peddle handpicked examples of science don't have that, because it isn't about conviction, it's about control. Say what you want about (probable glowie plant) Fred Phelps, but you can't say he didn't present a brutal honesty about his feelings.

Card games are for dorks.

Said the man who, for fun, conlangs and writes extensive histories for countries that do not even exist.
My man! Fun hobby.

You know, semi-related: It's a weird feeling to consider that the people the CEO mentioned in that quote up there are the same people who tried to get D&D and Harry Potter banned for not being holy enough. Because they're just not around anymore, or are such a vocal minority, they're coping and sneeding that people are still enjoying themselves. Their war against escapism: Failed.

It's a weirder feeling to consider the fact people this group of religious nutjobs hate/would hate are now in charge of doing the same exact thing they used to do. This new generation who also probably hates the ones they replaced on basis of 'white person religion evil.'

The Puritanical to Puritranical generational pipeline was put in place at some point in history. I wonder if you can make the newbloods feel despair by telling them they've turned into their parents. The thought amuses me BIGLY.

:cunningpepe:

All right, total schizo take but also what I fear the most: the steal.

Last time it was too obvious: bullshit polls, Silicon Valley censorship, the bunker. They learned not to overplay their hand. So what do they do? First, they pretend to be neutral: do we really think Bezos is our guy? How can you say the media is biased? They didn’t endorse anyone! No more online censorship, Musk OWNS X chud! Then, the underdog moment: who’s favored to win in all the mainstream aggregates, models, and betting markets? Trump. Harris is officially the underdog now. Finally, the money factor. Where are all these betting markets anyway? Mostly Great Britain, and who did we see colluding with Great Britain this election?

The steal is on and they are paying for it with the betting market they rigged up themselves.

This might be an unpopular opinion here but Tony Hinchcliffe's comedy set at the MSG rally was an optics nightmare and probably shouldn't have happened. It also really wasn't the place for comedy.
He just isn't funny. the same jokes given to Shane Gillis, Tim Dillon or Nick Mullen would've killed. Tony knew it wasn't his crowd and should've adjusted the tone and delivery. its pretty funny how this is the first time I've seen the guy and he bombed live.

There's also such a thing as defending and boosting people who aren't funny just because they're anti-PC. I'm irritated that it was mediocre Hinchcliffe when if there were a comedian there it 100% should have been Shane Gillis. Tucker's funnier than Hinchcliffe at this point.
Tony's definitely had his moments though. His set during the Tom Brady roast stole the show, in my opinion.

Also, the debate really isn't about whether Tony was funny or not. It's about whether his "offensive" material will negatively impact Trump's numbers or not.

That said, I do agree: How freaking epic would it have been if Shane Gillis showed up to that rally dressed as Trump? Would have been amazing. But, you know, maybe Shane didn't want to do it. Dude's already been canceled for anti-PC jokes once, lol.

This trailer is even worse with the phonk music:

I don't even play fortnite but that map looks like a roblox one from 2008
Fortnite is owned by Epic Games which in part is owned by Tencent. Interesting.
The fact they have the funds to create a map and pay epic games and a bunch of "game trailer" youtube channels shows you how they have so much fucking money to burn.
The comments on that video seem fake.
