EDIT: Let me put it this way ... I vividly remember telling family members in late 2019 that Trump was destined to win his next election barring some black swan/cosmically disastrous event occurring under his watch. Covid was the Democrats' golden goose for several reasons, and that is exactly why I was pessimistic about 2020.

Around November/December 2019 with Youtube's TOS changes rolled out, I knew that something very ominous was about to happen to warrant a massive online censorship campaign at a scale we have never seen before.

Then March 2020 rolled out, and I knew they pushed the big red button and deliberately released an engineered biological weapon that would cause an immediate economic collapse and would act as justification for drastic unprecedented emergency measures curtailing basic humans freedoms and massive censorship never seen before in the free western world.

I don't see the online censorship machine nearly in high gear as it was in 2020-2023. This could be a good thing as they have become lazy and complacent and we could see a 2016 repeat, or they know they got the election process locked down even better than it was in 2020 and 2022 and feel they don't have to show the steel hand.

In 2016 Trump got momentum as the outsider canadate and the deplorable comment motivated a lot of people to vote for him because it was the political elite openly shitting on normal people with real problems (which encapsulates 2016 in a nutshell). In 2024 Biden's comment might not be as big of an impact, but will still make an impact like in 2016 because people still don't like the political elites acting snobby to the common man.

Went back to remind myself of what exactly Hillary said. This was from September 9th, 2016, so two months before the election.

She was much more explicit and descriptive compared to Biden whose remark was much more brief and at least with a smidge of plausible deniability in only meaning specific Trump supporters such as Kill Tony.
