This is why both proof of Citizenship and Identity should be required to register anywhere in the US, period, full stop. Any foreign national can present a photo id and paperwork with a local address and do this exact same thing and - in the case of Michigan law - have their ballot count when it shouldn't. Sadly, I won't hold my breath t see this loophole closed any time soon.

Now this, this is suspicious and to explain it. Its not quite confirmed but it is heavily considered that these 'glitches' are attempts at fraud but done in a digital way meant to be easy to shut down and negate if caught. I am expecting a lot of these to be found now that Republicans are actually looking. The good news is that when found and the glitches 'fixed' that is actual fraudulent votes removed.

Like some people here, I'm cautiously optimistic about Trump's chances. It seems like more is being done to detect and combat fraud this time around. Then again, I'm not particularly knowledgeable about it (hence why I mostly lurk). This is the first time I’ve seen them do anything about it before the election is finished. It’s always either ignored or hopelessly delayed to after the election. The first time the Republicans even bothered to fight at all was when De Santis cleaned house in Florida.
