Trump seems to have entered a sort of "just fucking around, whatever dude" phase of his campaign because his people know that he has the election won already.

There isn't a fucking hope in hell that the American public elects slightly-ethic-Hilary at this stage. She has done fuck all to win over anyone and will only get the vote-blue-no-matter-who crowd.

I'm an outside observer of this election and Harris may as well not exist based on the level of reporting she gets internationally. The only news articles are about her tut-tutting at something that Trump or someone adjacent to him has said.

This is going to be a fucking slaughter.

He geniunely doesn't give a fuck anymore.

The kid is dressed as a chicken. You know, food? What do you do to food? You eat it. Nom nom nom.

It's a grandpa joke.

Whats depressing is hearing about his dementia moments that are not trying to hide anymore. They just don't get any media traction because... well, Joe is now irrelevant. Hell I haven't even bothered to relay them despite having actual proof of several.

One heartbreaking one that convinced me that the two do love eachother is Joe wandering off in a daze, clearly gone and having no idea where he is, his SS detail sends word to Jill who comes over. Not mad or angry, just concerned. When she calls for Joe he turns to her and just -beams-, saying and I quote "There is the most beautiful woman in the world".

The man is gone, into happier times, and its a fucking tragedy. And any news coming out of him being gone like the baby thing just has lost its luster for me. Its too damn depressing.
Even Trump has stopped all attacks on Joe. Complete stop. And I don't think it's cause he's no longer relevant. I think it's cause it's the honorable thing to do from a son that watched his own father die, slowly, before his body finally gave out. Hell, I have expect Trump's wife to be in regular contact with Jill at this point. There are some things you send a person over for, there are some things you do yourself, and there are some things you have your wife do discreetly without any press around.

Instead, he ties Kamala to his admin. Not to Joe. To his admin.

He hasn't even pushed the "When did Kamala know that Joe's mind was gone, and why didn't she take charge then? Why isn't she in charge now?" angle, despite it being a very obvious line of attack, because it would also be an attack on Biden-The-Man not Biden-The-Admin, and that's too far.

They're going to write books about Trump when he's gone and the sting of him being the avatar of reality going up against the fantasy the left has lived in since the 60s wears off. I think they're going to be fascinating.

I think his next stunt should be challenging @Hollywood Hulk Hogan to a wrestling match.
Imagine being someone who tags someone, someone who has the decency to not get involved with content they don't enjoy, who sticks to their own Trump lolcow thread, and has the good will to leave the main thread alone, just to rile them up and annoy everyone.

Haha wouldn't it be crazy if that much of a drooling troglodyte existed

At this point, anything can happen.

The same rug-pull steal, a convenient infrastructural disaster that delays the election results, violence which isn't off the table at all.

A generic steal isn't the first nor only possibility where this can go wrong. I'm not limiting it to a win/lose outcome.

But the sheer number of possibilities makes it a lot more preferable to stay positive while preparing for the worst.

It is worth noting on that, you can visibly see Trump get sad in his debate with Biden when Biden stumbles face first into that first major dementia moment. Its worth remembering that Trump's father died from Alzheimers and it is very likely he saw his own father's miserable end reflected in Biden which was a major part of why he wasn't anywhere near as aggressive to Biden in that debate.

Trump -genuinely- has more sympathy for Biden than his own party does.
A relative who saw this part of the debate made a similar observation - that Trump seemed shocked or surprised by Biden's initial stumble and didn't know how to react/respond at first. As much as Trump can be blowhard at times, the feeling was that he chose to ease up on Biden when it was clear the latter's mind wasn't where it needed to be. Trump's reaction and response makes more sense given @Gehenna 's comment about Trump's father dying from Alzheimers.

Since then, Biden's mental state seems to be clearly declining and he sounds like an older person whose good years are slowly moving behind him.

As this is happening, the Dems are so eager to keep power they've made it clear they'd run a warm body for a key position if the party's power brokers think it's the right move to make. As a result, Biden has largely been treated as if he's merely a bad cog needing to be removed and replaced to keep the large (political) machine that is the Democrats up and running even though the machine is barely sputtering with the replacement part in place.

I'm going to be fair here: The baby is dressed as a food, and Joe was making a stupid grandpa joke. If Joe had no history of sniffing and touching kids inappropriately, I think people would shrug this off.

THAT SAID ... While the video of the interaction isn't that bad (it even looked like the baby found it amusing because it was smiling at him), that picture is most unfortunate. LOL. Holy shit.

What are you talking about? Trump promoted masks and vaccines. His mistakes during covid were believing idiots like Fauci and Birx who lied about its danger and allowing the Democrat governors to tank the economy by locking everyone in their homes.
Maybe he should have been a bit more public and clear then. In the same way he made a spectacle after getting covid (going on the balcony) he should have done the same with the masking/vaxxing.

She is confirmed as the one who actually made the tweet endorsing Harris. So yes she is a loyalist. The problem for Biden is that while his staff is handling his day to day affairs the actual running of the WH has been handed off to other people since the start. Neither he nor Jill have any actual say on who gets hired or fired.
Wonder if KJP is the person who wrote the apology and clarification over the Garbage comment for him, too?
